No pushups?! Good stuff, glad he got a win. Most of us aren't that lucky in our first outing
We did the pushups for the first td, but he wasn't a fan lol

My wife likes to send me pictures of Grace at the park so I feel bad about being stuck in a cubicle all day.

Do your mom and mother-in-law bug you for gift ideas for your kids all December long, like mine do? Direct them to this website:

Kids To Grandkids | Your Source for All Things for Kids

Lots of cool ideas for books and toys grandparents can buy their grandkids here. A family friend of mine (who is a great grandma herself) makes and curates the site for grandparents looking to connect with their grandkids. She is trying to get a wider audience, and Amazon gives her a (tiny) percentage of the revenue that sales from the site generate, so please share!

Since I can't figure out how to embed a photo.

Go to instagram and look at the hashtag #OlivertheDuke

He is 3 months now and it's been awesome so far.

Let's try this. I'm not big on Instagram myself either:

[EDIT] Ok, that didn't work. Tried to embed, the post itself shows up, but not the pic. Cute pics though, congrats!

Good stuff, reps to you both.

Here's one of my youngest, Tiny Trouble. My wife taped Rudolph at Christmas time and he absolutely loved it. He was always talking about the "Bumble" Abominable Snowman, among other parts from the show. Of course my wife found a stuffed Bumble at the store...didn't get the reaction we expected.

May not embed, and the quality wasn't that great.

I have two daughters, Caleigh (3.5 year old) and Harper (2 year old) with our third child due in July. We found out about the gender of the girls ahead of time with their 20 week ultrasounds. We decided that we're going to keep it a surprise this time around as we're facing a lot of pressure about having a boy. I'd love a son, but I'm mentally preparing myself for three girls. At the end of the day, a healthy child is paramount.

My wife always wanted two kids and she knew that I wanted three. I always told her that it's up to her since she's carrying the baby for all of that time and I'd support her with whatever she wanted to do. She decided to go for three and she's really excited about it. My wife is labeled as a high-risk pregnancy for a number of reasons, so I'm hoping for an easy and uneventful delivery.

Three can be a handful, depending on the spirit of each kid. My 3rd (The one in the video above) is an unholy terror at times, he's all boy, and has been worse than our first two combined! We went from "man" defense to playing zone, cause that's all you can do when you have 3...they outnumber you  It's fun though, and it's interesting to see how each child interacts with the others (Using their powers for both good and evil). I wish you good luck in your quest for a boy, and a healthy pregnancy.

Ulk,.. how did you embed a video from facebook... I can't seem to figure that out...

Bring up the video itself (Make sure it has the black border around it when it's playing), click on the Options button at the bottom of the video, then Embed to get the code. Keep in mind that the video has to be set to Public, and they don't always show up very well on IE cause Facebook video linking can be sketchy.

That's a hilarious but true description with the zone defense. Thanks for starting the thread. Love hearing everyone's stories and seeing the pictures. Best of luck to your family too!

Our first was a girl and the second a boy. I was happy to stop, but my wife wanted another girl. After three more boys, she finally said enough. Raising five was certainly tougher than raising two, but I'm glad we did have five. There was always something going on and now with 8 1/2 G-kids, there's still something going on all the time.

At what age did any of you IE dad's become a father 1st?

27, wife was 24. Pretty good timing imo. We both were well into our careers, and we weren't completely strapped for cash. Weren't too young, weren't too old basically.

We hit up the park and within ten minutes he's surrounded by girls. He was on his game that day.
