If there were ever a government regulation that I liked, it would have to be Net Neutrality.

Wondering what y'all think.
I do see internet access as a utility. IMO, it has become a basic necessity in many ways. While I don't like the gov telling business what to do, I do think companies like AT&T, Comcast, VZ, etc. are as much public utilities as electric, gas, phone, water,etc.. Not to level of needing to sustain basic life (water/gas/electric), but as much of a need a phone these days.
Would anyone want the gas company limiting gas flow to certain brands of water heaters or furnaces? Water companies to limit flow of water to phister brand faucets while wide open to delta? Will the carriers slow slow video streaming to entertainment that is not their own? AT&T is attempting to get heavily into content. When that happens, will they slow or limit access to Comcast's NBC/Universal shows?
I just don't like it. If you pay for a certain speed, you should get that speed regardless of where you are going.
If the carriers start prioritizing, slowing, or limiting traffic, I do think we'll see some drama in the near future.
