Trout is a beast. I want the Angels to do well for him. I hated watching Griffey toil away in Seattle/Cincy and never win a championship.
Redbirds actually looked decent last night
And let's see how long that lasts.
I don't know if that's all fair though... they've been struck by the injury bug pretty hard four plus years running now, it's been sad and ye predictable at this point. This is from their current depth chart just right now:

Z. Cozart 10-day DL
J. Johnson 10-day DL
J. Marte 10-day DL

*note Simba, our best player not named Trout, just came off the DL as did Calhoun... it's deflating as fuck.
As a die hard Halo fan, unfortunately this has been par for the course. Even still they just missed the playoffs last year, missed it by one game three years ago and finished with the best record in baseball four years ago before pitching injuries derailed our postseason. 2015 has really been the only season where it's fair to say 'wasted' even then the team was riddled with injuries.
Braves busted out the brooms against the Cardinals. They now sit a half game up on the Brewers for the best record in the NL. They currently sit on pace for a 94 win season. What could unravel the season or be their demise if they make the playoffs is the bullpen. Huge liability.
Hard to believe the Royals went to back to back WS a few years ago and won one.
2018 is the year of bad, expensive teams
Orioles slugger Chris Davis is in the midst of a historically bad season

Dude, the Derby just now... Schwar and Hos put on a show there in round 2
Turned out to be a great derby considering all the complaining about it heading in...
Not a fan of the format, but was entertaining.
