Man Trout has had really tough luck with umps thus far... I honestly think he's at four, maybe five punch outs on balls well out of the strike zone.... so much for star treatment.

I'd also like to apologize to Braves fans on behalf of Halo Honks everywhere.... we raped the you-know-what out of you on that Aybar trade, Simba has become a legit star in this league... then we took some of your prospects... I legit feel for you guys.

Another note, it's time for Beltre to retire?? He's had four errors in two games against us.... that also makes me sad as he (and maybe Jagr??) is like the only athlete left from my childhood..... it's over fellas, it's over. I guess I finally need to try this whole grown up stuff.......

It goes against every traditionalist bone in my body, but if and when Major League Baseball goes to 32 teams, I'd fully support geographic realignment. There's a lot of history tied up in the American and National Leagues, but these West coast road trips are bad for the fans and bad for MLB's bottom line. I've watched most of every Red Sox game this season but I'm not going to see a single pitch when they go out West and games start at 10:07 ET. Then I lose my momentum / enthusiasm and I'm not as tuned in even when they get home.

Alternatively, we could abolish California and bring the Dodgers, Giants, and Athletics home to Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Philadelphia where they belong.

The designated hitter is an affront to God and Nature. Sadly, I would expect any realignment to make the DH universal rather than eliminating it. The players' union loves it because it extends careers.

I'm all for helping out the player, but not at the expense of the game. Just make a really good pension for the players. Also, I'm glad you didn't take offense at my early morning playful jab. I'm barely awake as is.

There is so much about the game that needs to change. Catchers don’t even call pitches anymore because some computer says what to pitch. These rich people can’t even buy beard clippers to look presentable.
