What's the blame pie for Tobias barely seeing the field between Freeman, Rees, and Chansi?

This program is terrible. Call me a troll, call me a dick if you insist but this program is archaic, poorly coached, and so far behind the times it won’t ever get any better unless this whole university rethinks how to make a competitive program…which it isn’t going to do.

Welp.

Was Stanford that impressive? One lonely TD in the first five minutes is all they really did..

Weird play calls, missed throws, so many missed tackles.

Not a good game all around. Everyone takes the blame here.

I’ll give Freeman 2 years. Not being able to get the team up for a rivalry game against Stanford and the lack of attention to detail are just awful signs early on in his tenure.

The team plays like a bunch of losers. Not a program that won 10 games for 5 straight years.

Marcus Freeman was such a fucking terrible hire. Swarbrick has set this program back 5-10 years with his pussy minded hire.

And fuck Notre Dame and their one foot in one one foot out of big time cfb. You fucking invented it!
As Rudy's Dad said, 'get serious'. Or go the fuck home you losers.
Disagree, hasn’t set the program back at all *unless* he keeps him for too long and the talent starts going down hill. Otherwise, it’s treading water waiting for the right hire (Fickell?)

- Enough with Pyne. The experiment is over.

- His deep ball is weak. He under threw Tobias. He missed Styles earlier in the game when he was open for a score.

- He’s inaccurate with short passes. Almost got Mayer killed on that last possession. Missed an open Styles on what was a decent 3rd down call earlier in the quarter.

- His decision making is poor. Why he doesn’t utilize his legs more is beyond me. He threw short on 4th down. Even if Jayden caught it, he’s short. Someone was behind Jayden and looked open.

- Golden made zero adjustments. McKee got rid of the ball so quick and CBs played off all night. So many pitch and catches that had huge gains.

- 4th and goal and TR calls an end around to Jayden. Run, run, Mayer. Run, run, Mayer. So predictable.

I doubt TR will get canned or Pyne will get benched so MF deserves what happens to him the rest of the season. I could understand not blowing things up after Marshall but there’s no excuse now. Should’ve blown Stanford out of the water.

That is the result when you show up and play one quarter of a four quarter game. Dudes should be ashamed, including the coaches. The refs were not great either but bad calls went both ways.

This team WILL NOT make a bowl game. I’m not entirely off the Freeman train but stuff needs to change.

There goes the legends trophy. It's the first of many rivalry trophies that will be transferring from ND.

Brian Kelly when LSU axes him after two years.

Rees needs to go tonight. It won't happen, but this is the third loss that his unit failed to produce when they needed.

Remove the UNC game, and this team is averaging a putrid 18.6 points per game. That's with opponents like Marshall, BYU and Stanford, all of which are not good teams, and ranging from average to downright putrid on defense. I mean...HOW!? HOW DO YOU PLAY THIS BADLY!?

This team needs to go back to basics. Like IMMEDIATELY. Tackling drills all week, because this team is just atrocious at tackling. It's astonishing how little success the DL had against a Stanford line that was down 3 starters.

I'm seriously dumbfounded by this effort. Dumbfounded.

No one on this board should be allowed to blame the refs or turnovers b/c when a team fundamentally plays so poorly that a lowly, winless P5 team can beat them, they have no one left to blame but themselves.

The first play of the game set the tone for the entire game: senior, preseason All-American commits a false start on 1st & 10. Pitiful.

All we heard all week was how porous the Stanford D is & how depleted the Stanford OL is. That led to EVERY podcast getting questions about “How many reps will Angelli get?”. After all that, I knew it may not be the easy going Saturday night that we hoped it would.

This probably won't cause them to go ahead and play the younger guys, but next week's loss to UNLV will.

He’s at a career turning point right this very moment.

I agree with all that but the D. They've been more then solid. If you can't put up more points then SIXTEEN against fucking Stanford.... How is that at all the D'S fault????
