Looking forward to the running back situation. Riddick, Amir, Wood and GAT might be the most talent we have had back there in forever. I would image George will move outside to stretch the field. USC guys gush about Amir and how hard he works and how good he was. Pretty special if you play running back as a freshman at USC imo. Also looking forward to the line backers and QB battles. Also who will emerge as a go to WR.

Then don't be. I never had a question. Instead I expressed how I see the depth chart (a two deep). I didn't take into account any others, and noted that. For example, I could have put Badger at hybrid, like many others are painting him, but I don't see it yet. Or I could have added some that are coming in this summer, which would further confuse the issue.

Dude, I didn't understand what the bottom part of your post was either. You did have a question since you wrote "what about others?" which is extremely vague like he said. I didn't see you "note" anything...so maybe YOU shouldn't be so rude. I wasn't going to say anything, but how you responded to his polite inquiry pissed me off.

Are the 5th years officially offered and accepted? I don't ever remember hearing anything, but seeing KLM and Golic Jr. in the Winter Workout video would lead me to that the 5th years have a good idea whom they are.....

Sorry if I missed that somewhere else.

2. Eilar Hardy - I think we know Bennett Jackson is a guaranteed starter and we know that the other starting spot is either going to Josh Atkinson or Jalen Brown... but does Hardy, who showed a lot of promise before tearing his PCL, switch to CB or stick at S? He seems undersized for S and with our lack of depth at CB it becomes almost a must to move 2 players over to that position before the fall.

Did I miss something about Lo Wood? I figured as the returning CB with the most game experience that he would most likely have one of the starting jobs...assuming he played well in the spring.

I'm sure they'll be officially announced during the press conference.

Heck ya! Manti is a known commodity. I want to see Carlo after all the work he has put in this off season. Has Fox matched his work ethic this season? What about the speed and hitting of Moore? The unknown of the werewolf? Is this the year Utopo steps up? Where will Ishaq play and has he made strides since his frosh year? How far along is Ben? Can Spond stay healthy and be the DOG LB this team needs? Line backers will be fun to watch this spring with so much depth.

Seriously, the more I see people talking about our linebackers the move excited I get, We already have one NFL top prospect in Manti Te'o, but when you look at the rest of the LB core, I keep thinking there is simply not enough positions to have all this talent on the field at the same time. I think Ishaq is who I am looking at the most in the LB core, he has the chance to be a TRULY monster of a player, if he lives up to his potential and plays next to Manti this year... I am giggling like a little school girl at just the thought...

The chances of at LEAST two Linebackers (outside of Manti) steping up and performing ABOVE average is very high with the LB core that we have. Depending on how much they improve and whether it is 2 or 3 that step up, the front 7 will be BETTER than we already expect.

looks like Rees' knowledge of the offense won't give him a huge edge at the starting spot. Kelly says all 4 will be competing at the same level of the playbook.

Rees has the most knowledge of the QB's but they will not start at page 50 of the playbook but page one so everyone has a fair chance

wow crazy stat from the PC:

When Irish did not have a negative play on their drive, scored at an incredible rate, in the 90's %

Troy Niklas to TE because he was comfortable with the OLB depth

Coach Diaco did not want to lose Troy Niklas, but I felt moving him to offense was best for our team.
