Real life betting thread, sorry no vbucks lol.

There are some interesting lines this week I am really tempted to touch.

Iowa State(+3) at Tulsa. Tulsa here, correct? Iowa State is awful.

UConn at Buffalo(+1). Both teams are bad, but UConn is at least a little better, right?

Really wanna bet on Texas A&M(-3) at Arkansas. Hate Manziel, but I'd be shocked if they didn't win by at least 1 touchdown.

Any betters have some tips? I have only been doing this for a couple weeks and have had some moderate success.

I don't think Buffalo is a bad team. Their two losses, while lopsided, came against two of the better offenses in college football. Coming off an emotional 5 OT win, things are not so bad for them. On the other side, UConn took a gut punch of a loss to Michigan. After being up on Michigan for good chunk of the game on national TV, it might take them a few weeks to forget about that one.

This is true, but it was Stoney Brook. Not exactly a football power, even for FCS standards. I probably will end up not touching this one though because I didn't really think about the latter part.

A&M will score at will on Arkansas. Even with their terrible defense I would give the three points all day long.

Check your A&M line. I'm positive it's higher than that.

The last 2 seasons I got into a pool where we bet 15 games against the spread every week so I follow a lot of games.

There really aren't too many "locks" this week by my standards but here are a few other games to check out:

Scar at UCF (I like SCAR to cover)
UF at UK (I like UK to cover)
Miami at USF (I like Miami to cover)
UTSA @ Houston (I like Houston to cover)

Ya the A&M line seems fishy, but I may take the bait. I think they win by two scores, fairly easily.

Texas A&M is definitely somehow only a 3 point line but I definitely expect that to move. Actually can't currently bet on it topbet, which is really disappointing because I was probably gonna place a big wager on that.

Are these site legit? Ya know, not like the poker sites where you win money and they send you a check when you cash out, followed by a letter a few days later saying their account was hacked and all checks were considered dead. Lol. I'd like to give it a shot, but I wanna know if I put a bit in, I can get it back out.

I don't gamble online. I just use the spreads for betting with real people.

But if someone finds a good site, I would be fine with turning into a completely degenerate gambler.

I broke the Cardinal Rule of "Never bet on a team you root for" for the Purdue game. 200 dollars later, I learned a valuable lesson.

Early Jacksonville at Denver line is Broncos -28. I've don't think I've ever seen an NFL line over 21.5.

80% of money was on tOSU Saturday. $100 million swing on that garbage TD at the end of game giving OSU the cover over NW.

5dimes came highly recommended to me, and has been very good for me as far as deposits and withdrawals.

Hit a nice little 4 teamer on the thursday night games last week, and a three teamer, that included our Irish on Saturday. I also got lucky and benefited from the garbage Ohio St. TD. Win some and lose some on that type of crap.

The most ridiculous win I ever had was last year, had Cincinnati score two garbage td's at the end of their game w/ Duke to cover. Like an 80 yard pass to a tight end, and a pick 6 by a d-lineman, twas glorious!

I haven't looked yet but I will try to post some leans in here, maybe we can get some winners for each other.

I keep seeing people taking Baylor every week. While I think they will win, I won't touch them this week in their first road test.

I took WVU last week figuring they'd cover the 29 and they never... I'd have to think giving KS 17 would be a decent bet the way there season has gone! They couldn't come up with anything against OKST and WVU beat them last week by a margin... and this...
