I was here earlier to help out with the Wake Forest game and now you're playing my Noles!



What does everyone think? Any early predictions? Have any questions about FSU?

from an fsu POV, what are you most concerened avout coming into this game? for me as an nd fan, its containing ej manuel and holding on to the ball

TT is spot on, it should be the Underperforming Sports Bowl, unless we are the Champs of underperforming, then it makes sense. Round and round, round we go...

FSU's defense is young but geez they are loaded. Fifteen more practices to work on the kinks, they could be tough. ND's offense is going to have to be very efficient, no room for mistakes.

I predict that FSU will have no problem with Tommy Turnover leading this team. 15 more practices to find new ways to turn the ball over to an athletic D.....makes we all warm and fuzzy inside, kinda like a Roller Coaster after mixing Beer and Liquor.

How do you feel about Jimbo Fisher?

I wouldn't be surprised to see a final score of like 17-13 or something like that by either team. A healthy Manti T'eo and healthy D-line should make our defense real good

FSU is very, very good on D(4th in the nation overall and 2nd against the run)...and young, which is scary.

ND will have to play flawless football on the offensive side to move downfield. We have to be able to stretch the field with Floyd (nobody can cover him, even on FSU) and then set up the draws and screens to catch FSU off guard. But even doing that, I don't think we get much of a run game going...Tommy better be perfect. Or an athletic FSU team is gonna eat him alive. Get ready to see Hendrix as he adds another dimension to our offense. And we'll need it all.

As far as FSU, ND has a great D and I think we match up fairly well with them. We're great at stopping the run when we feel like it, and FSU isn't a very good running team. We just have to contain Manuel and respect his ability to throw the football. We should have no problem getting pressure on him. Let's hope "All-American" Harrison Smith finally makes a play or two, and Gary Gray plays like a college level DB. Blanton just needs to forget last week, he's been pretty reliable all season.

This is true. Our offense has been pretty inconsistent but the defense has consistently played lights out.

Just FSU and Wake. I was going to FSU games when Deion Sanders was going there. I moved to NC and when FSU joined the ACC in 1992, I became a season ticket holder to Wake so I can see FSU play there every other year.

The thing is, this isn't a 'smack-talk' type of site. Not saying those are bad, I'm just saying this isn't one of those sites. There are plenty of those out there...go there if you want to talk smack. All you're going to do here is offend people and it's going to get into one big pissing contest. It's hard to convey 'good-natured ribbing' over the Internet, especially to people who are pre-destined to hate your school.

So if you want to talk about the game and everything, you'll be treated right. But if you want to get into talking sh!t about each other's schools/teams, well, it just won't work here...

Likewise, College football is better as a whole when Notre Dame and FSU are winning. It's tough being nice to the enemy....lol I did my best.....
