Michigan getting its ass kicked by a 7-5 Kansas State.

How the hell did we lose to these scumbags? Two words: Devin Gardener. He's not playing tonight. Still, it's really wonderful to see them getting humiliated.

What would you call a guy who threatens to rape a girl if she decides to speak out about having been previously raped by said guy's teammate? Scumbag works for me.

No, I don't believe they ever intended to redshirt Morris. He played in garbage time against CMU in their season opener.

As a Michigander, I enjoy some Wolverine schadenfreude as much as anyone. It's tempered by this year's loss to them, though. Worst loss of the year in my mind.

Worst defensive game plan we've ever had, sans Navy games. Our game plans on both sides of the ball were pretty ridiculous through Purdue and then steadily improved after that. Way too much being asked of ILBs, way too much man coverage with people who couldn't run with the person they were matched up on, and way too much telegraphed aggression at bad times.

I believe these issues have been largely addressed, whether or not by design, over the past few weeks. 2014's game against the skunkbears should be deliciously delicious.

Unless the new DC fucks stuff up. I'm thrilled for Van Gorder because I think he will coach the hell out of the LBs and recruit well... his history of aggressive D with our personnel scares me a bit though. The wildcard for next year will be how the defense performs against some projected elite offenses. I have zero doubt that the offense will be dynamic like we haven't seen yet at ND.
