YesIsnt that pretty much an admission of guilt at this stage?
My thoughts exactly.Trying to throw some of the minor characters to the wolves to appease the NCAA.
Unfortunately, it's kind of the opposite. Now the NCAA has no leverage over him.I wonder if he turns to the NCAA now to talk, they lost any leverage over him by firing him.
So apparently I was dead wrong.
Stallions is a true believer in the UM mythos, though. If Partridge isn't the same, then he now has no incentive to cover for UM, either.Unfortunately, it's kind of the opposite. Now the NCAA has no leverage over him.
That's why Stalions quit when he did.
That is true, but I don't know that he has incentives to do anything.Stallions is a true believer in the UM mythos, though. If Partridge isn't the same, then he now has no incentive to cover for UM, either.
I mean dude has to make a living. His ever being hired again could be predicated one way or another on his testimony. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that this thing could include criminal proceedings at some point. That is true, but I don't know that he has incentives to do anything.
Maybe he did talk, hence the firingI wonder if he turns to the NCAA now to talk, they lost any leverage over him by firing him.
and were all shockedSo apparently I was dead wrong.
don't forget his parents make 100K a year each as middle school teachers! Family was loaded lolLikely useless thought: The FOIA showed no expense reports for Stallions the entire time he was employed at UM. He had to be getting money from somewhere, there's just no way he's meeting all of his personal expenses on $55k and still able to pony up for all those tickets, and that vacuum business wasn't exactly pulling it in. He was tight with Partridge and Jay Harbaugh. Maybe one of them was filing fake expense reports and giving Stallions the money? Filing fake.expense reports would certainly be grounds for termination.
Well that article blew my half-baked theory out of the water.![]()
Sources: NCAA's evidence vs. Michigan included booster involvement in scouting scheme, attempted destruction of evidence
The revelations altered Michigan’s and Jim Harbaugh’s legal approach. Both the school and Harbaugh dropped an attempt to secure a temporary restraining order against a three-game Big Ten suspension.sports.yahoo.com
Is this bad? Someone on staff destroying evidence and obstructing an investigation?
That Ryan Day sure is wily!Just in case it hasn't beenmentioned, Michigan folks believe that there are multiple whistleblowers
