Already 7 Power 5 jobs with new coaches this season... might be looking at 20%-25% turnover before all is said and done. Unless Michigan gets a guy that currently isn't in college (Schiano, Harbaugh, etc.) that will set off additional dominoes,

Dang.
Kind of wild that both Auburn and Alabama have former elite program head coaches working as coordinators. Not gonna happen at Wisconsin, I'll tell you that.

Wasn't it his last stop at Auburn where he was reported as giving kids money to make them happy? I feel pretty confident it was him that got outed.

The accusation was that Will was "spotting" players with extra cash when recruits came to town. IIRC, it was reported that he would leave up to $400 in his desk drawer for the players so they could use it to show the recruits a good time.

Anyway, as far as a DC, lil bro is getting a good one. And we still gonna beat that as* next November.

I think that's the point. He was connected to/if not the stuff by players that had contact with him. Whether it's true or not, I don't know. However, that's pretty far up the food chain to act like it's make believe it's not true.

For the record, Cam Newton has all but admitted that he went to the highest bidder.

Can't remember all the specifics but I think the accusation came from a man that worked in the football office. He said he would see the envelopes with the cash in Will's desk drawer and the player assigned to the recruit would come in and get it during the recruit's OV. This came out during the Cam investigation.

I love TTown, you're a very valuable poster on this board. However, I'm slightly confused. Do you actually believe that Auburn wasn't the highest bidder for Cam or he just wanted too school at AU?

Cecil admitted to shopping him. And it was apparently Cecil's church and business that miraculously turned around in the financial department once Cam signed.

Meet the Bag Man: How To Buy College Football Players, In The Words Of A Man Who Delivers The Money

"We can only get away with whatever's considered reasonable by the majority of the folks in our society. That's why it's different in the SEC. Maybe that's why we're able to be more active in what we do. Because no one ever looks at the car or the jewelry and says, 'How did you get that, poor football player?' They say, 'How did they get you that and not get caught, poor football player?'"

Enjoyable article. Long.

I know it's hard for anyone to hire a head coach after they've just been fired, but I feel like someone should've picked up Bo at the D1 level.

If only someone could get Mora back in the League, I'd consider it a successful offseason.

I agree, but Youngstown is home for Bo, this may be partly his choice.

No kidding, he could have joined Frank Solich in finding a home in the MAC after Nebraska fires them for 9-3 seasons.

If he does really well under Tressel at YSU he could be putting himself in line for the Ohio State job should Urban Meyer implode due to stress or NCAA violations.
