I hate to say it, because he was my favorite, but Drayk Bowen looked really slow playing against horrible competition in the 2A title game. He could end up not playing much.

I have some friends that are still pretty involved with INHSFB, especially region area.

Their comment to me was if Kiser was considered too slow to play LB in P5, then Bowen won't see the field.

I hate the bust/transfer watch because I would prefer all of them work out for the Irish. Obviously that won’t happen. I think what makes this class really special is it is hard to pick anyone for this option. On a recent inside the Irish podcast O’Malley had I believe 15 of the guys as clear starters during some point in their careers. That was the most he’s ever had

Who thinks Kiser is too slow? He’s quite the opposite for a backer.

Bust might be too harsh. Could remove bust and leave in transfer.

I don’t trust the idiots I call friends in these boards. lol

But I coached against the kid. He’s plenty fast to play linebacker.

Bowen I don’t know firsthand though so that’s another story.

I’ve never questioned Kiser’s speed, & more importantly, his instincts.

I have seen Bowen in both HS title games & this year he seemed bigger, slower, & less attacking. He waited for the ball carrier to come to him, & let OL get their hands on him. He would push them away (because they are small) & drag the RB down as he ran by. So he had a lot of tackles, but they were mostly 4-5 yard gains.
He just didn’t look as quick & agile as his Sophomore & Junior years.

All of these guys thought Kiser was fast as hell too.

Their comment more was that they knew Bowen didn't have that kind of speed so were really doubting his future college success.
