Heard he might go to the CFL instead, but Darron Thomas was supposedly not very happy at Oregon his last year.

very surprised, he could have been in Heisman consideration after that Rose Bowl performance. Cant say thats the best choice, but we don't know his financial situation, I'm sure he'll get drafted just because of his athleticism, so it could easily be a finical thing.

I think the writing was on the wall that Thomas would have a hell of a battle with Bennett come spring. I believe he knew that last season was his last as "the guy".

Totally agree with you moose. I just think he figures, I won't take all the snaps or get the exposure I want to up my stock, so I'll try this route make some money and do what I need to, to get the most out of this last season and the season before. I don't think he would translate as a receiver either just based off what I have seen of him. But to each his own, not the decision I would have made but I'm not him. Hope the best for the kid though, he was a lot of fun to watch running that Duck offense.

edit: At least he earned his degree already, I definitely commend the young man for that.

So u guys are telling me the guy who took his team to 2 str8 bcs games with great stats was gonna lose his job. LOL sureeeeeeeeeeee.

If you think Chip would be that foolish, id love to know how you felt about Brian keeping ol limpy arm at qb.

That's exactly what everyone around the program was speculating. If you know anything about Chip Kelly, you know that he handles the QB position in a very "non-traditional" manner. Kelly's a great coach, but he's a (hardcore) waffler, when it comes to the QB position. I would not have been surprised at all if Bennett started next year.

Seriuosly, both Oregon campuses are very pretty even without the women I'll say that much. You have to like stone and lots of ivy though. cloudy too often though.
