and Fromm’s first...

He lit up Tennessee. Could tell the playbook has opened for him as well.

The BS Okwara late hit hurts.

That was huge for UGA, the CFB committee seems to not really care who you lose to unless there’s a green QB / key injury, so hopefully they consider that if the rest of the season goes well and we’re in the picture

UGA vs. Bama will be an undefeated SEC title game.

Neither are out of the woods just yet.

Auburn is routing Miss State right now. It's possible they can upset UGA or Bama.

In addition for Georgia, Florida is never a given. They've had their number for nearly 30 years and even when they're the better team (sometimes much better), Florida pulls something out.

Yep. And it's never easy or fun to play Ga Tech at the end of the year.

Absolutely pounding 3-1 Tennesse right now 38-0. Looking more and more like the all too familiar ND signature loss that helps vault an opposing team to the College Football Playoffs (FSU in 2014, Clemson in 2015).

Well Tennessee sucks so. Barely beat umass. Continual under performers. Talk about a coach on the hot seat. I have several friends whose parents live in Tennessee and they are huge ut fans, they would take kiffin back at this point

Let's not go nuts here...UT beat maybe the worst FBS team, UMass, by 4 at home a week ago. Mississippi State was smashed again today (and their "big win" over LSU doesn't look so impressive now). We'll see how they do against Auburn and (assuming they beat UF) Alabama.

LOL, you obviously didn't watch the game. Fromm was 7-15 for 84 yards. They won the game with the defense and running game. And no the playbook hasn't been opened for him. Still very conservative.

Not so sure about that. Watch out for Auburn. Blew out MSU tonight just like Georgia did last week. They are a replica of Georgia. Young QB getting better, solid running game and a great defense. Auburn losing by 8 at Clemson early in year is nothing to be ashamed of considering how good Clemson is. Plus Georgia plays at Auburn. And Georgia Tech will not be easy with that offense. They have a new QB and he may be Paul Johnson's best yet.

Undefeated or not, I think Georgia wins the east. But bama still looks light years ahead unfortunately.

Clemson looks very impressive again. About to get their 3rd win over a top 15 team already this year. Should be undefeated and likely playing Miami in ACC championship game.

Honestly I don't think Bama is "light years" ahead of Georgia.

Yes, they're 5-0 and have won all their games convincingly, but at this point, they haven't played really any good teams. Florida State has pretty much been exposed. Vanderbilt just gave up 38 points to Flahriduh and Ole Miss is uber garbage amidst the termination of Mr Freeze.

I turned it off after 17-0. Before that, the drive where he threw a back corner touchdown was better than anything Wimbush has thrown. To that point, it looked more open than the playbook vs. ND. Obviously up 24, they weren’t throwing the ball around the field. Considering the way game evolved, I would say my watching of the first part of the game was more than enough, and the most important part of the game.

I don’t know how telling me the stat line proves I didn’t watch the game.

You and I saw two completely different games. One throw, nothing great. One int. Only had 54 yards passing in first half. Hardly lit up UT. I see Georgia every week living here in GA. and it was the same Georgia offense. Run Chubb and make sure the young QB plays very conservative. This year it's all about the defense for Georgia.

So you are gonna go with the playbook has opened up 0% since the ND game? All the same route combos, nothing new?

Didn't say that now did I. But the changes are very small. BTW the talk here tonight is that Eason played a little today and is close to being ready. And that they intend to start playing him a lot more as he can make throws Fromm can't. They realize rhey need nore big plays in the passing game.

So my original post, saying it has opened up, is correct. I’m not advocating for or implying UGA would run a Jake Fromm Air Raid offense. Just he has shown more since the ND game. That’s all. I don’t think that’s a “laugh out loud” comment that shows I didn’t watch a game.

I wouldn't call it opening up the playbook. To me that's essentially giving the keys to the offense to the QB and they surely have not done that. Every team tries to add a little more to their playbook as each week passes. How much depends on the experience of the QB. What Fromm is doing in the confines of the playbook is about what you'd expect. And I can tell you it's not nearly as much as they gave to Eason last year. Not even close.

You are right in your statements. Dont let dwshade get at you. Prior to the UGA game he told us all repeatedly that their OL sucks, which they dont and never said shit about their defense which is elite. I take every "fact" he states with a dose of salt. He likes to post as a In the know but wont provide sources.

Domer and I were having a nice conversation about our respective opinions. Don't need input from a little p**** like you.

Then I should be banned as well then if that is a personal attack. Dwshade notoriously makes posts and comments that would lead one to believe he has sources. I was simply alerting Sluh to his MO. I will glady take a TO if it is warranted.

What did he say that was a personal attack?

I actually didn't think my comment was a personal attack. More like a truthful and factual statement.

I wish we were playing against them next year, but am glad we aren't playing them in two years when they're current crop is old enough to play. They're going to have 15 5 stars who are juniors and sophomores in 2020.
