Our WRs have been inconsistent under Alexander. Book had no trouble hitting Claypool, Finke, etc. Last year it was weeks before our WRs started showing up and our starters ended up being a glorified blocking TE, a Northwestern transfer, and a converted QB. Love those guys for giving it their all, but our WRs aren't scaring anyone. We don't know enough about Coan yet, but we've seen enough of Alexander's WR group to know they're not showing up.

Well...soon as I post this Wilkins makes a big play That was good to see! Maybe that will stretch FSU a bit and keep them honest.

Now just drop 7/8 in coverage and FSU won’t be able to move the ball.

Basically this. Only plays they’ve been hitting have been because of missed tackles / blown contain. Been VERY aggressive and not sure that makes sense against an offense like theirs.

We definitely needed that. We need some consistency at WR though, need a playmaker or two to step up regularly. They've been locking down Mayer since that first series.

it was a good time to throw bc if picked its just a punt. I thought the big upside to coan was gonna be quicker read and quicker release. Have not seen that yet.

If Coan is gonna under throw everything can we at least get Colzie out there so we have a chance of pulling it down? Or maybe just throw everything to Mayer.
