I'll be drinking rubbing alcahol to dull the pain. Wake me up, when September (3) ends....

How is Blade and Bow compared to Angel’s??? I LOVE envy but it’s price can deter me at times,… I’d love to find an equally smooth whisky at a lower price. I LOVE Aberfeldy for this but would like a few options
Different taste profiles. The Blade and Bow is a solid option if you don’t love the typical ryes. Angels Envy Rye is the best I’ve ever had. I typically do it on the rocks and love it. Blade and Bow is solid, but my choice for an old fashioned or a mint julep on a hot day.

For the price, I don't really care for Angel's Envy. It's good dont get me wrong, but I like a little more bite to my bourbon. Honestly I think my favorite common bourbon is Four Rose's Single Barrel. For $35-$40 it tastes like pure autumn to me.

I’ll look for Roses but love Envy, Aberfeldy, Oban, Crown,… the lighter, smooth ones,… caramel much appreciated. My fav all things considered is Aberfeldy at this stage,… Walker, Belvenie,… ones like that?? Nah

Definitely give the single barrel a shot. Obviously it's a little variable due to being single barrel, but consistently lots of apple, honey, clove, carmel in it for me. Like I said, it's what I want to be drinking next to a fall campfire.

I like me some whiskey, and recently quit drinking for the 500th time, but I'll be chugging some whiskey/vodka/whatever I can find to make it though the game tomorrow. Please MFMF, don't turn us all into alcoholics again.

Fowler will be gargling so many bucknuts tomorrow. I may mute the broadcast. I do enjoy when he and Herbie go silent like @ VT, however, I’d be shocked if that is the result tomorrow night.

Try Eagle Rare if you can find it. For a really great option try Calumet Farms Small Batch (Green Label) or for a real treat try Burning chair.

What’s everybody drinking for the game tomorrow. I think I’m skipping beer and going straight to the bourbon.
IPAs during game.
After a win: Woodford
After a loss: Jim Beam
