We have avoided downfield passes almost completely for 3 games. That means our play calling is avoiding a clear weakness of our QB

This Defense put us in every opportunity to win this game. The offense again killed any mojo. The time management this game but Kelly and staff was awful. And the false starts in just unacceptable. Quinn can recruit so far coaching is yet to be seen.

He's a good normal power 5 QB. He gets eaten alive against the best teams. Georgia, Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State, etc, no chance.

It's kind of Notre Dame football in a nutshell. There are always going to be 5 or 6 teams every year that are just going to clean our clocks. Ask Urban Meyer

I feel the same way about Brian Kelly. Does great against everyone that isn't an elite program like Alabama, Clemson, or Georgia. To me, Brian Kelly is a coach that can only take a team so far and then get taken to pound town by the elite teams especially come National Championship time.
