I know I’m nervous all the time, & me having no filter with my words can rub some folks the wrong way on this board but to the more optimistic folks here do we really have a chance next week? Do we have a chance against Boise? Do we have a chance against USC? Is there a chance that Freeman can fix this D? This is Eli talking not Rudy89, do we really have a chance this year?

All of the bed-wetters were of the view "we may lose to Purdue" because they played USC "close." Now we have no chance against USC despite showing that Purdue still sucks. Boise lost to USF, who got absolutely curb-stomped by Miami. Arkansas lost to Memphis today, so acting like they are some sort of juggernaut is silly.

The issue is improvement every week. Do that, this team is fine. If not, then of course they can lose.

There is obviously also the issue of the defense not showing up in the first half of games. That absolutely cannot continue if you want to beat good teams and is far and away in need of drastic improvement.

Of course we have a chance. We literally lost to two top ten teams by 4 combined points. This team can beat anyone and should beat the rest of the schedule.
