Funny. I took today off for obvious reasons (I usually work Saturdays). I requested it a few months ago then a few days later my mother-in-law called wanting to schedule a visit and day out on the town with us for today. Not wanting to say no because of the big game, I made up a story about our dogs not being able to be home alone for that long and how I thought it was important for her and Nancy(my wife) to have some quality time without her worrying about the dogs. I told her I'd take the day off just so they could have their fun and quality time. She thought it was a great idea and said what a great son-in-law I was. Well two months have gone by and I assumed my wife had long ago told her the real reason I was staying home....NOPE. They were just leaving and she kissed me on the cheek and said what a great son-in-law I am, "sacrificing a Saturday off just for her". She added she was gonna buy me a special thank you gift while they're out today .

I just text my wife to make sure and mention how I love ND stuff :)

I always knew that their girls weren't hot but come on there must be some hot ladies for the men so they don't have this problem?

Thought I would post for a second. Weather is fine Wooly! Met a young man yesterday, wiping off the bench we got to chatting; it was NDdomer2! What are the chances. I got on camus late, just saw the speakers at the luncheon. I was standing room only; who comes in and stands next to me? Jack Swarbrick. I thanked him for turning things around. Then I shook Dick Vitale's hand, then Mike Brey's, so see NDdomer2, you are in good company, (at lease it anything

ASSUMING our boys pull off the dub...

Does anyone know the last time a Notre Dame team has knocked off two top-20 teams in a row?

I can't believe the canceling of this series would even be a question. I hate that we have to play Michigan every year, but I love that we get to, if that makes any sense. The game itself is always overly stressful, but the week leading up to the Michigan game is always my favorite of the year.

That being said, ffuucckk Michigan.

Go Irish.

WOW, that's crazy!!!! Well I wouldn't mind if history repeated its self again :)

Only that is not right about that is that the 1988 team gave up 27pts through 3 games :)

But yeah, I pointed out that SC had produced Golson and Rice in a previous thread as well.

We just need to tie up Shoelace and our front seven might be up to the challenge this year. They REALLY need to be though because our back four are so green, especially with Slaughter done for the year.

GO IRISH!!

Nope, but I would like to know the last time that we swept the B10...2002, maybe?

I think the last time that we beat two top 20 teams in a row was 1988 or 1989...and those wins were against top 15 teams, I think.

Simple, if we stop denard and control the line we are in good shape. Obviously easier said than done

It rained last night, this morning and is now raining again at 2:17 PM game day. Hope the tarps on. Hope the field holds up well if it rains during the game.

Go Irish!

Been studying this game. Looked at a lot of analysts' opinions. Even read some Michigan Blogs.

I've decided I don't like Michigan very much. We should beat them.

That is all.....

Some guy on CBS picked Michigan, using Denard Robinson's past against Notre Dame as literally his only evidence, not once mentioning anything that has happened this year.
