Who will step up and be the toast of the board on Sunday morning? Try to go out on a limb here!

My pick: Tyler Eifert, 2 TDS (including GW)

Theo
9 catches 98 yds 1 TD

Floyd will also have another monster game, but Theo's will be more notable because he bounces back in a big way and shows the ability we know he has. He will also have at least one big kick return, maybe not a TD but a 40 yd type. No turnovers and at most 1 drop this week. Kid's going to be on mission.

I could see Big Mike ending up with 175+ yds and a pair of scores. Pitch and catch all game long to #3 if Riddick steps up.

I hope by GW you mean "the touchdown to give ND its last lead" and not "TD with 30 secs left in the 4th". I cant go through that this weekend. I want this to be far out of reach at the end of the 3rd.

I will go with Rees: 21-28, 301, 3 TDs. 1 Rush TD

I want to say that the enitre defense is going to "click" and by doing so they will contain Denard and only allow their offense to put up 13-17 points.

If i have to pick an individual player. I think Tommy Boy is going to have to have a stellar game in order for us to win big. Im talking + 300 passing yards.

Gary Gray and Harrison Smith need to have a bounceback games. They're the veteran leaders in the secondary and both committed bad penalties last week. The defense didn't create any turnovers last week, and I think if we can get a couple extra possessions we can win this game convincingly. I'm looking for Gary and/or Harrison to make a big play early and get the momentum going the right way early.

Our team as a whole will run like a well oiled machine this week, but its the D that steps up big and only allows 3 scores by Michigan. 2 FGs and a TD.

Theo

Too good to keep being so bad. Kelly will get him the ball early in a non-treatening situation (e.g., wildcat run, slot reverse, etc). He'll get confidence back.

Excited to see him rebound.

It sounds like Michigan is going to blitz heavily to try and get Tommy rattled.

I expect a lot of quick throws to Riddick and Eifert.

Riddick didn't show up last week and it was still pitch and catch.

I have a hard time seeing Rees throwing 28 passes with a secondary as weak as Michigan's.

I fear Tommy will throw at least one costly pick by zoning in on Floyd.

This is always a concern, but his interception last week was really the only bad pass he made to Floyd. Every other time, he was open.

Louis Nix - 9 tackles, 2 tfl, 1 sack

Cierre Wood - 17 carries, 142 yds, 2 tds (One will be 40+ yds)

Don't think Nix will be on the field often enough to rack up 9 tackles.

I do hope Cierre Wood can reach 142. That would be fun.

Gary Gray: drive killing pick and tackles outstanding all day!!

He was really disappointing last week.

My pick: (Collectively) Darius Fleming and Prince Shembo. Contain, contain, contain.

you mean he'll actually try and make a play on the ball instead of just letting receivers catch in front of him all day long? when was the last time a cornerback for ND actually anticipated a throw and stepped in for 6 the other way, jeff burris?

my pick to click is TJ. i see him bouncing back in a grande way.

D-Line severely disrupts the line-of-scrimmage [but gets little real applause from most].
Braxton Cave battles Martin to a standstill in a King Kong vs Godzilla face-off [but gets little applause from most]. His buddies smash holes and create shields.

Nevertheless, despite lack of vocal appreciation, these two mighty efforts will serve as the foundation for all the fancy fly-around guys to make the plays which will be praised with loud enthusiasm. If the fly-around guys do their jobs competently, the big boys will convoy them to a win --- just as they would have done last week.

Even Monsters need to be Loved.

Tommy "Ice Water In Ghe Veins" Rees will jumpstart our offense, creating an outright explosion, fueled by continuity, collectiveness, fluidity, and poise. The defense will come up big, securing the outside perimeter and stuffing Robinson before he has the chance to break off a big run. ND wins this one big time and gets refocussed going forward!

I'm feeling our D-Line will step it up. KLM is my pick to keep Denard in that pocket. On O, I see Rees throwing for 300+ and at least 3 touchdowns. The kid can get those throws into the tight spots BK's offense requires.

Shembo!

It's just gotta be. I can't stand to watch multiple 30+ yard runs by Denard this year.

Wood gets through the first level of defense and runs wild through their secondary multiple times. comes out with a couple scores and well over 100 yds rushing.

Riddick also bounces back with a solid 4 quarters. maybe not anything jaw dropping, but holds on to the ball. 5-7 catches for 60-75 yds

What the **** is the matter with you?

I forgot how much you annoyed me during the season last year.

We already have a board jinx, and I already have plenty of jerkoffs in real life that razz me about Notre Dame.

Hey man, just keeping it real. It's how I am and how I always will be until I see something different. LOL
