Link to an opinion piece on 1945 just put here to see if anyone has opinions on it. I read 1945 website as part of my daily news whip around but there stories are pretty superficial and I have no good feel on like deep journalistic integrity.

I have to think the Ukraine Army is purposely keeping a strategic lack of density to avoid tempting Putin into a tactical nuke.

The Ukrainians have done a job winning the logistics war. Russia got caught with their pants down. They wanted to just drive fast into Kyiv, but got hit with greater resistance than they thought. Then they wanted to bomb/shell their way through the Donbas, but the Ukrainians broke bridges and supply trails as well as every ammo depot they could find. Now Russia is stuck. I wouldn’t be surprised if Russia fell back and hammered hard to at least hold gains in the far south. At some point, Russia will fire back and this will drag out again.

At least China is doubting their new alliance.

I think the funniest thing is when I get videos of events that are translated “pieces of shit” gets translated as “shitpieces”.

Ex: those Russian shitpieces ran away”. Lol

How in the world does that happen? That dude should have been be 100 miles away from any action.
Seems like Russian forces lack any kind of ground command so Putin is having to put high ranking officers on the front lines. Maybe as punishment maybe out of need.

Some papers said he was fired days before. Either way, looks like a chaotic withdrawal in the last few days. Still waiting to see if Russia pivots and fights or just digs in deeper in the South. Either way, a great day for Ukraine.

Anyone know if this big push was a result of all of the military aid finally getting there?

SOme but also favorable weather conditions and also a lack of ground operational control and direction on Russia s part from what I have heard. It was an opportune time generlly.

I'm concerned that Ukraine could be over stretch in some directions and russia can regroup and attack again. Ukraine has the whole northern boarder with russia to worry about securing now.

I think it won’t really ramp up until Ukraine turns it’s attention to taking back crimea.

This will be over by November. Biden will take a victory lap before the interim elections. Russia is quickly losing its appetite for this war

Go back three pages, you and BO1 shared likes on each other's posts about how NATO and globalization led to all of this. You may live post truth, but others don't.

NATO putting pressure on Russia is not even closely related to Russia committing atrocities. Russias anxiety over NATO absolutely contributed to this war. The perception of weakness on NATO likely contributed too.
