I feel like if we don't have a resolution by next week we need to go full MGoBlog and start a rally at Jenkins' house.

Strange that they are treating it all as one case that they want to have all the hearings before they release rulings

I asked this in the KRuss thread too, but I'll ask here also because the discussion is carrying on in both threads.

By no means am I agreeing with the whole mail it ****. But is it possible the mail is used as a certified form of communicating the decision. Not comparable, but wasn't the UofM kicker dismissed by a letter?

If this doesn't end soon we are going to get neg recruited the crap out of us if it already hasn't started. This is getting ridiculous.

If it turns out that these guys are innocent, and it's taken Notre Dames months to come to that conclusion, then the school is going to come out of this situation looking really bad, IMO. You better believe this would hurt Notre Dame in recruiting, and wouldn't go over well with Brian Kelly and Co.

Regardless, it shouldn't take this long for a resolution. It's as if Notre Dame operates in the Renissance Era. The school will get blasted by the media, and rightfully so. This has gotten past the point of being ridiculous.

If they're guilty then they're guilty. If they're innocent then they're innocent. Come to a resolution already, FFS.

Reading between the lines here, this is how big institutions act when they're afraid of getting sued. Everything is extremely formal, certified mail only, etc. I'm hoping this is just the influence of the Office of General Counsel, but it may also indicate that ND is truly worried about getting sued over this.

Would make sense if they plan to burn people with minimal/no evidence.

according to an article i read on the Chi Trib this is how all Honesty Comm hearings are handled. A 5 person committee is made up of 3 students and 2 teachers and review the findings and hear from the accused. Then they make a decision and mail that to them. If they are found guilty they can appeal it to the Dean of the school they where accused of cheating in. If they still don't like that decision they can appeal it to the Pres.

Davaris just had a very nice sounding tweet. Sorry I don't know how to embed.

Something like, "I'm way too hyped right now, lets get it!!"

if all go free: great for short term but long term a recruiting nightmare

if all are guilty: bad for the short term, and less of a recruiting nightmare.

it appears and i still cannott believe they are being tried as a group, and not as individuals for soenthing like this. how is that eve possible...much less fair to each guy??

I doubt the rulings will come down as a group ruling.

I didn't see anywhere where it said they were tried together, just that they'll render their decisions after all 5 meeting have been held.

I can't Imagine it being normal to notify one when there are still heeding to be held. Considering they are looking connected.

I believe the facts regarding their cases are likely to be intertwined so the factual findings on certain things will affect multiple individuals.

understood but its distrubing they told KVR per his tweet that they need to finish up all the others before telling him his fate.

It makes sense, why rule on one guy until you have heard all or their, apparently, inter connected stories. Make sure it all adds up first.

That's what I have come to believe. The verdicts may vary but they will all be notified together.

the case against each guy should stand on its own merits as pertains to that guy--not have to fit into some interconnected theory the council may have.

This. Not really sure why some can't understand this concept.

Not when there all multiple, interconnecting stories to account for. Makes total sense.
