You have to hold them out if there is a possibility of a NCAA infraction. If you know that they might have committed one and you play them, then you have to forfeit any games you won with them playing if at the end of the investigation they did commit and infraction. You always suspend from football until you verify if an infraction is committed so that you don't possibly have to vacate wins.

F on the paper not necessarily in the class. If you had an 88 in the class before the F on the paper you still might be able to get a C depending on how the class is weighted. Hell even a D in a class might not be the end of the world if they got B's in their other classes.
