I gotta say, this kind of post just drives me nuts.

A best case scenario is that the facts aren't right and this turns out to be misinformation. If this happens, things are not better - they are the same.

A likely scenario is that we just lost 2 of our best 3 or 4 players for the year, our lock-down CB combo is over, our defensive scheme has to change, our DL is now even thinner than it was, and our only pass catcher who has actually caught some passes is gone. In no way is it possible to say that the team "may end up being better." The team, under this scenario, is much much worse.

A worst case scenario is that this shit is really bad, in which case the consequences are longer-term, the possibility of Kelly bolting arises, even wins vacated, etc. All blatant and poorly disguised defense mechanisms aside, I've got that familiar sick feeling...

This is the kind of post that drives me nuts. It is my experience in life that things are never as bad as they seem. AND, that people who reveal character flaws in the dark, and are revealed, never turn out to achieve what is expected from them. In a few cases people learn from their mistakes when caught and go on to achieve great things, but that is very rare.

And if the feeling I am getting is that we are seeing some more of the leadership disease from last years team being exposed, I cannot believe we are worse off.

So to me, turning pussy, and kicking, whining, and throwing temper tantrums (longer than a couple of minutes) is the same as encouraging these bad boys in the first place!

Fuck anyone who wants to hang their had on a dishonorable piece of work. And you and I don't know all that happened. We are still officially speculating.

A foursome of Notre Dame veterans was not seen leaving the Irish practice field Friday afternoon. Cornerback KeiVarae Russell, defensive end Ishaq Williams, linebacker Kendall Moore and wide receiver DaVaris Daniels were not among the players who exited the LaBar Practice Field Friday.

Notre Dame did not respond to questions about their absence. The Irish are planning to host a practice open to faculty and media Saturday morning.

This is such a big story that no reputable, big-time reporter is going to go public about it unless he/she knows more details. That's why small time people are all over it right now--they have nothing to lose.
