RIP, Sid. (Just found this)

Sid Catlett, basketball star in ‘greatest high school game ever,’ dies at 69

Sid Catlett, Austin Carr and Collis Jones all came to ND in the same class with Jackie Meehan, John Pleick, Tom Sinnott and Jim Hinga. Lou Somogyi of Blue and Gold magazine picked that class as the second best recruiting class in ND basketball history. Catlett and Alcindor (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) would meet again twice a year in home and home ND-UCLA games.

DC Legend Sid Catlett Dies (DC Basketball)
That being said , I think the strongest pipeline in DC Basketball history is the Notre Dame College pipeline from DC, for three decades from 1966 to1994. DC Basketball keep Notre Dame in the national spotlight for years. It started with Brian Kelly. Bob Whitmore, Sid Catlett, Collis Jones, Austin Carr, Adrian Dantley. Duck Williams, Tracey Jackson, Cecil Rucker and Monte Williams.

Bob Whitmore, Austin Carr, Collis Jones, Adrian Dantley and Monte Williams are all in the Notre Dame basketball Hall-of-Fame.

Good story about recruiting at that time:

It's a weird way of marketing old people these days. See who gives a fuck and run with the new agent. Agents are all that's needed If you have half a brain.... and we know most of these guys have half a brain.

Cancer is a bitch, man. RIP.
It can be so cool how music can bring generations together. My mom and sister are two very different people, but they both shared a love for the Monkees of all things.

Actually 77 years young when he passed. He'd been battling adenoid cystic carcinoma cancer for 10 years.

way too early at 52.
he turned out to be a pretty good guy. figured he'd end up an a-hole turd after that show. my X would make me watch that damn show every week with her. always thought Tori Spelling was sultry, and better than the other two.

I watched like a wild man when TifA-T joined the show, was a huge Saved by the Bell fan. It was strange seeing her play such a bad character though.

Dude, you never stop amazing me. If I have time next trip to EP, I'm buying you a taco and a baked potato.

Also loved the chick that played Clare.

Never watched saved by the bell, but though the petite African American chick was the hottest on that show.

Never liked Tori, as an actress, her character on 90210, or as eye candy,... just me. Kelly KaPOWski on the other hand,...

I loved FP, Wonder Years, and Cheers. WY and Cheers are true classics. I'm approaching 50 so those were in my zone too. All in the Family and Sanford and Son reruns were my favs too.

Different Strokes brah... 80s for the win.

I have all the 80s/90s Disney cartoons on box set, my youngest goes to bed watching them nightly, usually Ducktales as her tastes are as legit as her daddy's

She was only on that cast because of her dad. Tori's a great example of how money can't buy everything.

Does Sarah Jessica Parker also do it for you? Both have severe cases of horse face.
