I booed you bc you started with “in his defense…”. There is no defense to say the wrong name in that situation as the president. Just another fuck up to add to his resume. Sorry it bothered you so bad, but don’t defend a moron.

Well, he did apologize.......to the murderer for calling him illegal.

Good stuff. Meanwhile Trump was personally consoling the family of the victim. And people wonder why he's winning.

Okay, here's one I just found via celebrity deaths via NYP. Sophia Leone, of adult entertainment fame apparently, passed away after an apparent home invasion homicide?

Never knew adult film stars used modeling agencies. RIP Sophia.
It's crazy if it was a home invasion homicide. Graduating from mere burglary to homicide is a considerable step up in offenses, most home invasions try to avoid confrontation.

Considering her career choices I guess it could've just been a creepy fan or something too

She was probably at Disney World the day before riding around on a scooter yelling at her kids.

Sadly, the thread gets back on track with the death of '70s star Eric Carmen at the age of 74. Best known for fronting The Raspberries, who had several hits during the decade, he also had a nice solo career with a number of hits in the '80s.

There are a lot of great songs and there are some "perfect" songs. Go All the Way, to me, is an almost perfect song. I was so pleased it got lots of traction and reintroduced to a new generation through "Guardians of the Galaxy" soundtrack. The chords (and tempo) can really challenge a musician... in a good way.

RIP Mr. Carmen and thanks for the great memories.

Cheers and Go Irish!!

Also sad that we just lost Karl Wallinger of World Party and the Waterboys fame: Karl Wallinger, Who Sang With World Party and the Waterboys, Dies at 66. The last album he did with Mike Scott and the Waterboys before leaving the band - This Is the Sea - is one of my all time fav albums!

That's sad. I remember hearing "Ship of Fools" when it first came out and thinking The Stones had a great hit on their hands. Was shocked to learn it wasn't Mick & Co but a band called World Party. Some great music.

RIP.

Cheers and Go Irish!!
