I remember watching his team upset UCLA in the Hoosier Dome during the NCAA. With the exception of the UCLA fans, the entire place was roaring for Princeton.

Purdue All American and HoF Kansas City QB Len Dawson has passed at 87. IIRC he was 2-1 against our Irish. Picked Purdue over OSU when being recruited. Was also a pretty good color guy for many years. RIP Len.
