What will you remember most about 2014?

Missing planes?
Ferguson?
ISIS?

2014, the year I started to stop caring about ND football.

2014 sucked. Waited 10 gd months for my new assignment. ND, Bears, White Sox sucked. Bulls got ousted in the 1st round, and the Hawks, the glimmering hope in Chicago that year, were beat by the Kings, who were able to capture their 2nd cup in 3 years. 2015 has a lot going for my teams and they better come through.

Hawks need to win the cup.
Bulls need to make a finals appearance.
White Sox need to make the playoffs.
And Notre Dame needs to win 10 or more goddamn games!

For the sh*t we went through this year, we all deserve that much in 2015.

I'll remember 3 things when it comes to ND.

1. suspensions / rumored violations
2. the shitty call at FSU
3. freezing my ass off watching ND get jailsexed by NW.

Other than that, swell year

The year my 3rd and last child was born.
The year our entire defense was injured.

Yea ever though all the negative things have happened the birth of my son trumps all that. And my continued volunteer service to my community is much better to remember.

I am have a lot of passion in all I do so while I root for ND weither they are 12-0 or 0-12 I will always root for them. So while it seems I am being negative I just want better for the team.

Here's to everyone having a great 2015!

Best way to guarantee #4 is to get rid of all your baby crap, speaking from experience.

I thought that's what the diapers were for?

Well, unless I'm fooling around on the side (Which I'm not), it'll be impossible for us to have a 4th since my wife can't conceive again. The doctor's said a 4th kid would probably not be healthy for my wife for various reasons, so they tied her tubes after the 3rd. On the plus side: no more birth control methods/devices required!

Seeing my cancer surviving daughter who already had a Masters in Public Health, get her nursing degree and start a new chapter in her life.

Having my 3 year old grandson climb onto my lap more than once and say "Grandpa, I wuv you".

Watching my sophomore granddaughter land a starting position on the girls varsity b-ball team and get a letter from Notre Dame.

Getting a promotion and huge raise.

Having all of my grand-kids come up and give me a hug without asking.

Yesterday's win made this week much more festive than I thought it was going to be. Go Irish!

Some personal milestones in 2014:

1) completed first year of marriage
2) bought a house
3) got a second dog
4) expecting first child (girl)

*been a very eventful year. With the table set, here's to many more years being happily married, and hopefully a good father

I will remember 2014 as the year that I move to NY, started a new job, and watched ND shut out Michigan, in person!

I went to the USC game, in 2013, and the Michigan game in 2014. My last two games in South Bend have been pretty nice!!

Next year (2015), I am going to try to get to the BC game at Fenway.
