Crazy to look at these numbers. With Bama approaching a million and Tennessee nearly 1.5 million, it might actually be cheaper for these athletic programs to just buy off the recruits.

probably but I was jokingly leaning more to the idea that they shouldn't waste money on any expenses (travel, meals, visits etc.) and by only using the money to buy off recruits it would save them money.

Otherwise you write a list of all the players who were bought off and send it to the NCAA if your so sure.

I found some numbers on Notre Dame. They spend slightly over $1,000,000 on Football recruiting, putting them along Tennessee as the only schools to spend over 7 digits on football. Also, Overall they are third (behind Tennessee and Auburn) on recruiting budgets for all sports, spending over2 million.

Total budget:$2,070,316.00
