The University of Notre Dame has announced the launch of RALLY, a collective and lifestyle agency for the next iteration of collegiate athletics dedicated to creating meaningful and market-based name, image and likeness (NIL) opportunities for Notre Dame student-athletes.

“We couldn’t be more excited for the creation of RALLY, a new collective formed to create commercial name, image and likeness opportunities for our Notre Dame student-athletes,” said University of Notre Dame Vice President and James E. Rohr Director of Athletics Pete Bevacqua. “As we navigate the new landscape of college athletics, our collaboration with RALLY will set our student-athletes and athletics programs up for success for years to come.”

RALLY, led by Board of Directors chairman Jack Shields ‘83 and board members Gayla Compton, Jordan Cornette ‘05, Matt Moroun, Kevin O’Connor ‘89 and Hannah Storm ‘83, will develop RALLY into an NIL agency for Notre Dame athletics focused on sales and marketing, business operations and unique experiences.

Are fans allowed to contribute?

I think so. Click the link, there's another link on their page for fans to get involved, even to go so far as to sponsor a specific athlete.

ETA: It doesn't appear to be a "throw money in the pot type of thing," tho. It's about providing an actual NIL opportunity.

I believe it's going to evolve into that shortly and the timing was intentional around the green out game. Idk if you're going to see QR codes on the jumbotron, but from what I hear they're going to very forward with this even at official university levels. We heard this with FUND as well though, so we shall see.

All we need is more money pulling on kids in college to help them focus on their craft 😂

Is this going to allow us to compete with the big boys?

ND isn't getting out NIL'd for anyone on the roster and rarely in the transfer portal. It will free up other NIL funds for high school use but at the same time, they will NEVER go full Auburn or Miami.

Sigh. They're losing out on millions. All of the big boy programs allow their fans to donate and they promote it constantly on gameday on their jumbotrons.

Look, I only have so much, so if my $0 has to go to RALLY, I have to stop sending it to IE.

I've always wondered if Fertitta was a contributor.

Can't imagine many programs giving son so much opportunity to play.
