1. The defense is so good that unless you are truly elite on the OL I don't really see how you score 20+. Maybe you get there through some busts or mistakes, but we've seen through four games against four very different offenses that teams can't really put a drive together.

2. Running game still seems to be an issue. I'll wait to see the success rate stats, but it just doesn't seem good enough and I'm not sure what the answer is.

3. Great job of using TE / slot and attacking middle of the field today.

4. Mark Zackery I cannot believe that effort in coverage on the last play of the game. What are you doing.

My only take away is you need one of those pass rush formations with Young, Traore, KVA, and Dunham. You can’t take the first 3 off the field, but Dunham needs to get on it more.

Purdue is absolutely not worse than expected.

They're bad, but their offense put up 38 points on the road against a UCLA squad who just won against Maryland 54-3 on the road.

That offense could do basically nothing all game. And that was with 2 of the top 3 safeties out.

An absolutely uncomfortable amount of Purdue fans saying they’re pulling for ND the rest of the way to take out IU…when they literally could do it themselves. Made me feel gross.

Mac Jr’s assessment: “The Boiler fans aren’t even mad, they’re just fine with it.” The apathy was real.

Other than that, the most mundane 39 point win ever.

Feels good.

Success rate of 71% when Williams carrying the ball. 43% for the other two, each.

They actually had something going in the run game early. That fake punt was poorly designed and everyone in the building was looking for it and it cooked any chance they had.

Wasn't super impressed with the run game. They looked better than most of the past 3 games, but Purdue's defense is atrocious, so it's hard to say if that works against better teams.

Carr had easily his worst game of the year, but they still were able to have their way with Purdue's defense.

Defense...what's left to be said? Purdue is a bad team, but their offense has been good so far. ND made them look like the past 2 seasons of Purdue ineptitude.
