The President doesn’t need any bill to secure the boarder. This is false BS that they push bc they know sheep will believe. Harris never went to the boarder, purposely. Plus, as noted, that bill was falsely titled as a boarder bill with a bunch of BS included

Watch, elect Trump and that shit will be closed.

Not true. That bill was loaded with bull shit and was far from a resolution. Bipartisan my ass as 6 Dems voted against it. Trump had the most secure boarder any of us have ever seen.

They sabotaged the boarder for votes. It’s simple.
What votes? Find me the votes.

The Joe Rogan podcast drops tonight.

I listened to it and my take away is that Trump is by a large margin the dumbest person to have ever run for President in my lifetime and has mentally gone way downhill since 2016. Joe tried so hard to keep him on track and he just rambled incoherently. His senile ass should be in a home and we should have DeSantis / etc. as the nominee but we don’t.

I still think he wins but goddamn any candidate that was remotely with it would be up 5+ points nationally.

I listened to it and my take away is that he showed he can be in charge and handle a conversation. He appeared personable and answered the questions, sometimes in a very roundabout way. Him doing this and other relevant podcasts is going to help de-bunk the “weird” and “hitler” lies being spread by his opponent. His opponent took two days off to prepare for a softball cnn town hall and still failed it.

My wife - who is not crazy on politics, was pro-Haley, thought it was refreshing to see him in a normal convo.

I'm 90 minutes in and thinking of calling it a day. It's not enjoyable or even remotely informative. I don't think Trump has gone downhill though...I think he's always been incoherent in the way he speaks. He's a rambler and a bullshitter. He's never been the type who can rattle off statistics or provide detailed information about, well, pretty much anything. Even via a teleprompter, it's often a miss. His debate and conversation style is filled with "weaves," insults, jokes, and bullshit banter. Always has been.

Is there anything worth listening in the second half of the conversation? Let's be honest...90 minutes in and not a single question about aliens? C'mon Joe, give the people what they want! lol

Also, I wish Kamala would go on the show. Just take the opportunity to be a normal person and have a normal conversation. But rumors are that her team wanted Joe's questions up front so she could prepare....which is precisely the exact opposite of what JRE is about. It's not an interview, it's just two people talking. If Kamala can't even do that.....I mean c'mon. This isn't some lion's den. Joe has had Bernie and Yang on in the past (great conversations, btw). Any normal person who wants to be taken so seriously as to run for POTUS, should be able to at least sit down and have a cup of coffee with a guy for a couple hours and just shoot the shit.

I listened to the first hour, I don’t think he answered a single question. He kept saying “I’m coming back to it” but he just… never does. Rogan, bless him, kept trying. Very interested in the remaining two hours, hopefully he opens up and answers more directly.

The most damning thing from the first hour, though, was how he just didn’t **understand** what Joe was looking for when he kept trying to ask, “What is it like when you get in there?”

I’m sure plenty of people will say Trump knew what he was looking for, but just can’t answer in that regard if he actually wants back in… but I honestly just got the impression that Trump was oblivious to the actual context.

Kind of telling that, in an interview broadcasting to millions of people that want the dirt, my guy was extremely distracted by his memories of the Lincoln bedroom.

(I also love the “visited the murdered cop’s family at their home in Long Island, it was a very big deal that I went there in person”. The guy just can’t help himself lol)

In your opinion Toronto or anyone’s, do you think that Biden/Harris purposely broke the boarder so horribly on purpose just to collect votes?
No, absolutely not. If they did, they would not have tried to pass a Republican boarder bill. Also, that’s assuming they would have ability to change the voter registration ability in multiple states and then further have the messaging to get these people to actually want to vote. I think it’s a fairy tale that an illegal immigrant wants to go into a government run office to vote. It’s someone on the run from the FBI going into the DMV to get their drivers license renewed.

I listened to the first hour so far. It’s a pretty painful listen. Joe was trying so hard to lead him into blaming his inexperience in politics as the reason he hired a bunch of scumbags and criminals during his first term and Trump just wasn’t comprehending.

I gave up when he started talking about wanting to replace income taxes with tariffs. Wtf?

Maybe! But look at this exchange from 2016:

And compare it to this answer:

85% of that answer is a fairytale or inaccurate to the point where you don't even need to have taken a single history class to call BS... and translating that to 2024, you have to have an IQ below 80 to take it at face value that you could eliminate income tax and have other countries pay to run our federal government. There was similar rambling in another section where Joe started mocking him about his "weave" getting wide because he started making zero sense and straying so far from the topic.

Anyways, not like any of this matters, everyone knows who they're voting for, but yeah I don't think he's as sharp as he was 8 years ago. He's not as bad as Biden, but he's lost a step. Hate to see what he's like at age 82.

I agree with you. He has always been crass but was also fiery and quick. He’s still crass but hasn’t a lot of fire and isn’t as quick.

His schedule this week was insane. He’s also old. Dems playing the age card after telling us to vote Biden is a bit ironic.

He had a 3 hour rally prior to this, same day. And sounds just fine. Anyone who would downgrade their opinion of Trump based on this is being disingenuous. I'm only 1 hour in but he's been on point and it's a good discussion.

Finished. Trump voter, but don't understand how anyone could take anything negative from that interview. His understanding of foreign affairs and UFC/Boxing was impressive. Definitely a positive interview for his election odds, in my opinion.

Because people don’t like what they don’t like. You can convince yourself of anything if you try hard enough.

It’s already illegal for noncitizens to vote…

Youngkin is full of shit.
Youngkin has claimed that at least 1,500 “self-identified” non-citizens were removed from the rolls, but the data tells a different story.

On Wednesday, during court proceedings, the DOE was ordered to hand over the names of the people affected by this round of removals. According to Dorman, many of those listed were US citizens.

“We’ve only had this list for 48 hours, and we have already confirmed that there are many eligible US citizens who are on this list, both naturalized citizens and people who have been lifelong Virginia voters,” said Dorman.

She added: “There are nearly 100 people on the list who have been registered and voting in the Commonwealth for more than 10 years. So claims that this is impacting non-citizens are not true.”

Wrong again. Not to take issue with the super serious mother jones, but this is a partisan attack from the DoJ on a Tim Kaine signed statute. Only one reason Dems stand opposed to voter id and preventing non-citizens from voting. Those removed get 14 days to prove they are citizens. It doesn’t stop them from voting. How many illegal immigrants voting is acceptable to you?

Wrong about what? They removed people too close to the election based on the laws as they stand. Plus the people they removed are voting eligible US citizens.

It was some of the worst listening ever. Trump is genuinely funny, but my god the combination of a dumb person's smart guy in Joe Rogan with an over the hill Trump was a dynamic duo of stupidity. 30 min in and Joe's lapping it up about Trump trying to spin the "weave" off as anything but an old man rambling was priceless.

So after seeing the Dems run out an old guy that's lost a step......you then want everyone to vote for the next most senile old guy lol.

Harris is literally stupid. She can’t answer simple questions that she knows are coming and has been prepped for.

And Trump is far from senile. Biden however, I think we all know.
