I actually disagree. I don’t think people are numb to inner citycrime and black on black murder. I honestly just don’t think people care. Just don’t kill my white babies.
It's why violence is an economic thing, not a race thing. Improve someone's material conditions you'll see violence drop. Doesn't matter what race someone is.

Negative. 100% disagree. It’s the American mindset of “I exist therefore I deserve, as opposed to I exist therefore I serve”. People have very unhealthy expectations and don’t value life either. Vast majority of poor people wouldn’t and couldn’t harm a fly.

So I'm clear - what are you 100% disagreeing with? That it's not an economic thing, but a race thing?

Yeah, the vast majority wouldn't be violent but according to the facts crime is higher among poorer people.

So gun control doesn't work, boosting the economy does?

This is where you're wrong. There is no one that is okay with mass shootings at schools. Why isn't there more outrage about all of the inner-city killings that happen everywhere? A life taken is just as wrong regardless of where it occurs. Why isn't there the same uproar we see when it happens at a school? Because it happens everyday and everyone has become numb to it, where as the school shootings aren't that common.
There have been more than 400 school shootings since Columbine in 1999. How many more are enough before we do something … anything. Everyone hasn’t become numb to it. Republicans are numb to it ( or they just don’t give a damn).

“Race” no, culture yes. Poor whites don’t kill as much as poor blacks. Gang violence isn’t necessarily a white thing either.

Crime is higher with poor people. Same reasons families are poor are the same reason families produce violent criminals. Poverty isn’t just a numbers thing, it’s a mindset. Bad structure within the family unit will cause poverty… and for the same reasons cause bad outcomes for its members.

So you believe that culture is the thing and economic status isn't. Ok.

Mindset? Not sure a self help book is going to help someone who's struggling to find shelter.

Yes. There are more white poor and Hispanic poor than black poor. But black poor commit more murder than white poor and Hispanic poor.

Yes mindset. A book is a good start… lol. That’s the difference between you and I possibly. I think people can change their mind right and do great things. You think they just need more government.

I would have thought the guys who preach about the ills of DEI would be all over the "economic issue not race", but I guess the safe haven of culture wars is too comfy to leave.

I'll buy some copies of The Secret to give out and see if I can enact any change in the community.

Trump probably shouldn't have said "they’re going to lay the groundwork and detail plans for exactly what our movement will do."
Stop, you should take the tweet more seriously. Especially "All the Demonrats do is lie and project their own EVIL DEEDS" if I was worried about the quality of posts here I would be all over this and ensuring that no emotional posts were made!

Lady who worked on Project 2025 and whose book “Y’all Fired: A Southern Belle’s Guide to Restoring Federalism and Draining the Swamp" comes out in a couple weeks said Trump wasn't involved. A bunch of blue checkmarks all agree, I don't know man, seems like a lock and shut case here!

And not nearly with the emotion that you guys do lol. I haven't seen anyone that's "on the Left" post anything remotely close to something calling Dems "Demonrats" lmao. Could you imagine if someone posted something from ThePalmerReport?

In pure text dialogue the emotion sometimes isn’t with the sender it’s how it’s how it’s received. It’s politics, a medium driven by fear. Every conversation on here is fear based.

Try again.
Please tell us more about what Harris has done that we should be up in arms then? She hasn't tried to overturn an election and continue to spread falsehoods about the election. She hasn't been convicted of 34 felonies and have 4 other pending cases. The national guard want deployed under her watch to stop protesters. He's and her family didn't over take DNC for her own political gain. She hasn't stolen a bunch of secret government documents, then stored them in her own private residence, show them off to people who don't have proper security clearance, and then refuse to return them.

Please tell us more about what she has done that we should be hold her accountable for like we are with Donald?

There are over 100,000 schools in the US. The most recent event in your precious database of 417 shootings over the last 25 years

"Joppatowne High School in Joppa, Md.0 dead1 injured 770 children present in school
A 16-year-old student shot and wounded a 15-year-old student in a bathroom."

"March 26, 2024Charleston Junior/Senior High School in Charleston, Mo.0 dead0 injured300 children present in school
A 14-year-old male showed a handgun and then it discharged following an altercation in the men's restroom."

You say "Columbine" like there were 417 Columbines when reality is the vast majority were not mass shooting events. Parking lot altercations and one on one violence predominate upon quick perusal. They are just bringing the neighborhood violence into the school - you think these kids aren't doing these things in the streets too?

Saying 343k kids have experienced gun violence is pretty absurd when all 770 students in Joppatown get to be victims of the one-on-one bathroom incident that very well could have been a kid defending himself from a bully. Its the COLUMBINE2.0 fear that creates the trauma. EVERY student does shooting drills and is affected for the one or two in 100,0000 real incidents per year. Rather than institutionalize the known crazies or god forbid arm qualified teachers- lets traumatize our entire population.
