Most of us expected a better product on both sides of the ball. Luckily, we also expected the schedule to be much tougher. Instead our opponents have all under achieved giving this Irish squad a chance to adjust to a new OL, multiple injuries, QB shuffling & a new DC.
This is still a 10-2 team IMO. At least one loss is looming. If I had to guess today, I’d say it’s UVA. They’re still good enough to pull off an 11-1 season & they’re still vulnerable enough to finish 9-3.

There's no excuse for this team to not finish 11-1. None.
Virginia certainly has a good passing offense, but their defense is record setting levels of inept. Like, UNC's defense is bad, but Virginia's defense is several times worse than them.
They've been woeful against a very average BYU offense.
This looks way more likely if Armstrong’s injury keeps him out. He is a scoring machine
Every week I grow more frustrated at the loss to Cincinnati. This team could be on track to 12-0 if we hadn't beaten ourselves. Cincinnati is not a very good team.

Is Kyren the first RB taken this draft? I think that he has a good shot.

Lorenzo Styles should start the rest of the year regardless of Lenzys health. He’s produced more in two months than Lenzy has in 4 years.
Kyren is my favorite ND player of all time. I’m going to keep saying it every week. Gonna miss him next year.
Im happy for Jack Coan. Seems like an awesome dude and a great teammate and he’s figured it out.
Im glad Rees has finally figured out the offense strengths. It was clear long developing plays wasn’t the answer and the quick uptempo was. It’s fixed a lot of issues.
This is the first time all season I’m scared about Freeman and the defense. From start to finish we got outplayed, out coached and didn’t seem to have any answers to stop UNC. Just like I said in week 2 that it needed to be all hands on deck to fix the O line, it needs to be all hands on deck to fix the defense.
The linebacker injuries are now coming back to hurt us. Drew White and Bertrand look tired as hell and they still have 4 games left to go. Need to figure out a better rotation.
Shame on Bertrand for the club to the head in a massive momentum opportunity. The crowd was getting hyped and UNC was ripe for a punt. That penalty could’ve cost us the game. We have to be smarter in that situation.
