You're the Donald Trump of this forum.

A shining, symbolic representation of what this forum has become.

Sensational, hasty, and completely irrational.

(PS: Love you guy's that have not fallen down this hole)

Saying BW is a bad passer doesn't mean I'm Donald Trump. It means I have eye balls.

There is no new offense. Kelly and Long have both said it's the old offense w some wrinkles and Long calling plays. The D is in fact an entirely new D. Why don't we need patience for that?

What boggles the mind is how Chip Long is struggling to do anything in the passing game. Even if the other guy was calling the plays at Memphis, he was the OC and you'd think he'd have at least picked up some pointers in his year there. His bio from 2016 is great, from wiki:

In 2016, the Tigers ranked among the top-20 Football Bowl Subdivision schools in passing offense (304.4, 14th), scoring offense (38.8, 16th), completion percentage (.635, 17th), passing efficiency (152.53, 19th) and first downs gained (303, 20th)
Memphis was one of six FBS teams to rank in the top-20 in each of those offensive categories in 2016.

Chip long isn't throwing passes or running routes. That might have something to do with it.

What boggle's my mind is how is how Chip Long is exceeding expectations in the run game with 330 rush yards per game.

Can someone remind me why we hired a guy with one year of offensive coordinator experience at Memphis not only to be our OC but to call plays. Especially since he wasn't calling plays there. I think Kelly's failures at ND all relate to poor assistant coaching management (free reign for Diaco to quit recruiting hiring BVG Booker special teams etc.) And not bringing in a veteran OC and a veteran QB coach will be the final nail in the coffin.

Said it before, crazy conspiracy.

Kelly hired someone that he knew couldn't handle the job, that way Jack would beg for him to take the keys back...

(fyi, this is facetious)

Temple.

And Boston College.

And all I heard last week was how great the BC defense always is and especially against us. Don't change the tune now.

Our rushing game was out of this world and out performed everyone's expectations.

Our passing game was horrible. We had 96, let me repeat, ninety-six passing yards. How is that normal for a Junior QB who's supposed to be really good, and has weapons around him and an OL 95% of CFB would be jealous of.

Rushing game = A+. Passing game = D+. You realize both can be true?

Yes passing game is lacking but he cannot take all the blame! How about or WRs who are lacking separation and having key drops? Don't blame all this on BW. Tommy/Tom Rees wouldn't even improve our passing game.

All these people saying that we should not expect much from Wimbush because it is first year starting? Um, yeah, Kevin McDougal says, "HI!"

This brings up one of my favorite ND historic stats. McDougal in 1993:

98 completions
55 rushes
1,626 total yards
11 total TD
5 interceptions

Different era or not, McDougal is probably as overrated relative to fan's memories than anyone in history. There were about 20 better players on the team.

Also, the '93 schedule was super weak but that's an argument for another day.

Dude, I loved Kevin McDougal. Difference is no one expected anything from him and he had a storybook season.

On the second interception why doesnt Crawford run it in for the pick six? There is no one in front of him.
