My point about the 50 is that with overtime those numbers are usually getting skewed because of the extra time. If a game goes into 6OTs, you could potentially be looking at anywhere from even a low number of let's say 12 (if both teams missed many opportunities) to 48 points extra on the board. My point was still that 37 in regulation was too much.
The INT was a result of pressure up the middle and a subsequent dip in the elbow due to pressure which results in a ball sailing. The tip had little to do with the INT. I'd argue that was thanks to the defense. Sure we were bailed out by bad snaps, just like they got bailed out by the Mustipher penalty while we were driving, the targeting call, ESB dropping a tough, but catchable ball, etc. That's all part of the game.
At the same time, we were stuffing their run game during those stretches, and making the tackles one on one for short gains. Wasn't all their own mistakes.
