1. 7-0 feels good, no matter how you get there.

2. Theo Riddick called: He wanted to say a few words to those who wondered why he was getting carries, after the Miami game: "Suck it, suckas!!!"

3. Everett Golson is the starter, if he is healthy. In the meantime, the hate for Rees should stop right here. He's not great, he's barely above average, but he does NOT "suck", he ISN'T "terrible", and he embodies everything that Notre Dame stands for.

4. Brian Kelly is not an idiot; his playcalling does not suck, and he is a very capable head coach at the D-IA level. Those of you who can't see that should really just be silent....

5. I mentioned it a few weeks ago, and will bring it up again; this team is good, but probably not as good as we would like to think. They can be had. But let's hope that divine providence remains in our corner, in this truly magical season.

3. yes/no. No reason to hate the guy, but besides that he shouldn't be playing Qb for ND.

4. yes/no. He makes questionable calls.

I think Kelly has been holding back our offense, hiding our true capability for the big boys. What we see next week will shock the football world. Book it!

Spond played a damn good football game and ND got the win, yes it was sloppy but ill take it.


The real question is, Is College Game day at Norman Oklahoma next saturday?

My observation...........

If I hear one more fvcking announcer, analyst, or reporter say, "We will find out how good the Irish are next week" one more time, I am going to puke......... they have said it now 6 games in a row.......

Also, if I hear Hammond call Davonte Neal, "Davaris Neal" one more time, I'll track him down and beat him with a shovel

BYU looked pretty much like I expected. We played pretty bad in the first half. This should not have been this close, but hats off to the team for sucking it up and putting it away.

Yeah... bashing a kid just because you don't like his play. Did Floyd not embody the ND spirit? Or were his indiscretions ok because he was a better player. I just don't understand why some people cant help to bash our own players.

Great two headed monster at RB.

I cannot understand those posters who feel a need to support Cierre by ripping Theo. I hope the "Theo can't run through an arm tackle" nonsense is put to sleep by this one. We don't win that game without Theo breaking tackles and extending runs with tough running.

Tommy did not turn the ball over (that INT was on Daniels). I would have liked to see Hendrix inserted in the red zone when Kelly was determined to run the ball in (unsuccessfully).

But it was one of those gut check wins that in the past ND has found a way to lose.

Missed fgs and a bizarre call on that reviewed BYU td did not throw the team off its focus.

A healthy Everett takes over against the Sooners (hopefully his turf toe is improved)

Wooly taking him behind the woodshed... tuxedo shirt style! I agree completely. Kids make mistakes.
