Which ref threw the flag? The back judge?
"Hardly ever called" is for whiners. It was a penalty, and if you get caught, you get caught.
Tell me again how its a call on Prosise. Ramsey grabs the back of Prosise.

He grabs his inside shoulder too.
Seriously...seemed like kind of a late flag if anything i couldnt see who threw it. Complete BS. Defender engaged first and pulled s jersey. You cant make some shit call like that to determine a game
Flipside of USC '05. Bush Push was a no call because it was an obscure infraction that happened on a game-deciding play. Refs were correct not to call it, and Weis said as much after the game. Refs should have done the same here. But after at least a dozen blatant holds by FSU's OL go uncalled, they suddenly reverse course and decide the game on a ticky-tack call that negated what was the game-winning TD. Atrocious officiating.
Your contrarian shtick wears thin.
Why did we get away from the running game? We ran for 114 yards in the first half compared to 43 in the second. Frustrating.
By the time Fuller begins to run his 'slant', the ball is practically out of Golson's hand. Darby even puts his hands on Fuller to stop him. Look at the defender on Prosise, he immediately attacks him and doesn't attempt to disengage and even yanks Prosise. You can see Prosise's jersey being pulled.
It's a horseshit call.
4Q ND NOTRE DAME penalty, Offensive Pass Interference (NA) - ESPN Video - ESPN
Great heart shown tonight. Tough tough place to play.
Winston is worse than toilet scum, but he's Heisman winner for a reason. With time, he finds someone; when blitzed, he knows who's open because of the blitz. And he doesn't make many even slightly inaccurate passes.
Related to this last point, VanGorder did what he could with a young defense, and needed a great effort by the DLine to do it, and he got it, and still Winston was just good enough.
Folston ran great. He appears to be taking the lead role, though I still want Bryant to get some action.
Robinson is going to be the great WR I've felt he would be ever since he drew that PI against Michigant State last year. Great instincts and developing the physical skills to be fantastic.
Generally, excellent work by the O Line.
I thought Golson played well, but I think he went down earlier than he needed to on the last-drive run to the eight yard line. He could have gotten to the five or closer. I think fumblelitis was on his mind and he wanted to protect the ball, but I would have liked the yards. It would change the subsequent play calls.
I also didn't care for the next play -- the pass in the flat to Prosise for a loss.
Still, they gave it their best on a pressure drive, in hostile circumstances, with young players. I don't know if that was the right call or not -- I defer to those with better knowledge of the rules than me -- but you don't see that called very often, that I know. Also, I don't know if it is still pass interference if the block has no effect on the play, because Robinson was getting pass because no one was covering him. Prosise didn't block the back covering Robinson. There was no back covering Robinson. The guy Prosise blocked was holding Prosise at the beginning of the play.
A lot of composure by young guys. Extremely proud of them. Extremely proud to be a fan. Kelly is showing that he really is elite.
I'd rather make the argument that we should have never been in the situation where we were playing catch up. We held the lead most of the game. If we could have kept them outta the end zone one more time, that last play doesn't matter. We put ourselves in that position.
Then don't read it. Since when is it "contrarian shtick" to tell people not to whine and blame others? Especially if there is a good chance that they are wrong in their convictions that they have been wronged. Look, I get that no one wants to blame our players or coaches for a loss. But the bottom line is that all of those players and coaches are fallible. They make mistakes. It's not blasphemy to say so.
FSU had busted coverage. They didn't even attempt to fight through like they're supposed to. Its an obviously terrible call.
Go watch some replays and tell me that was PI. Bulls**t. You probably haven't watched a single replay you're so busy riding in on your high horse to scold people are pissed off. This a ND fan forum. Fan is short for fanatic, even if I truly believed that call was correct I would never argue with our fans for being pissed about it. This is supposed to be a haven for ND fans to share the highs, and commiserate the lows together. It's so annoying and sickening to have a bunch of self righteous types come in here and defend the refs/FSU just to try to be "rational" and "unbiased." If I cared to read about and listen to a herd of people blindly defend the refs I'd watch ESPN or go to their website. Then don't read it. The other thing here is, who was it called on? I was listening to the audio and it sounds like it was on 7, not 20. Fuller isn't the block everyone is discussing.

Gentlemen... That was the most outrageous officiating call I have ever seen in my life.... And with that... I am done.... I am done with college football... The college game is flawed... Its a fucking joke that they ARE STILL FUKING USING CONFERENCE OFFICIALS!!!! THIS VERSION OF THE SPORT IS COMPLETELY CORRUPT!!!!! This is a fukin carbon copy of the shyte that happens in match fixing scandals!!!
It doesn't even matter because neither committed a penalty. But it was called on CJ.
