just as I told my wife last night, expect that:
1. Michigan State, loses convincingly to #3 Oregon on the road, and convincingly to (at the time) about 15-ranked Ohio State, AT HOME.
2. Notre Dame loses (?) to #2 FSU on the road, and to #9 ASU, ON THE ROAD, when trailed by only 3 points with 6 minutes to play.
Undefeated FSU is now ranked No. 2; ASU is 7.
Oregon is now No. 3; Ohio State is 8.
which team with 2 losses, Notre Dame or Michigan State, SHOULD be ranked higher? remember, Michigan State just lost, AT HOME, to a team who got beat by Virginia Tech at home.
who else did Michigan State beat, which makes them deserving of being ranked 3 positions higher than Notre Dame?
was it: (a) Jacksonville State, (b) Eastern Michigan, (c) Wyoming, or (d) Indiana?
was it Nebraska, the team which almost lost to McNeese State, at home? they are really that much better than Stanford?
heck, we even beat Michigan by a lot more. shut them out.
remember: Notre Dame BEAT Michigan State last year - their only loss.
what a joke. all the voters see is the 55 points.
