1. Oklahoma 2. Bama 3. Oregon 4. Mississippi State

Look for the SEC West to cannibalize itself. I'd be surprised if it produces any undefeated teams. Oregon apparently has 3 injured tackles. A D with a pulse is gonna beat them up right now so I'd be surprised if they win out. Oklahoma still has Baylor, TCU, KSU, Okie State. I'll give them 40% odds at undefeated. So just win and good things happen.

Whether we're really top 4 or not making the playoff will do the same thing making the Ship did. We'll get a few 5 stars we have no shot at currently and some shaky guys will firm up. Everything this year is gravy, it's all about locking up talent that can contribute next year.

Just like the put the clamps down on Jeremy Gallon from Michigan right?
Don't you know, one great bowl game against Rutgers means you can defend anyone anywhere no problem.

Not where you think we are yet.

Ok, your opinion. I could certainly be wrong, would be the first won't be the last. Having the best player in the country makes a difference though. Tommy isn't running this show anymore. I think you're underestimating the talent on this team, especially next year...that is my opinion.

What are you saying? KVR isn't one of the best CB's in the nation? Who said no problem...I certainly didn't. Toomer is great, KVR is as well. EG is better and has more impact then both of them.

Your post are always the best.

Yeah, Amari Cooper may actually be the best player in college football right now. I have no idea how good we are with the sample size we have been given, but we still aren't there yet. If we can get the OL fixed, the running game going, healthy, and our suspended back then maybe we can have a shot at the playoffs, but you can tell we are still missing a few pieces. I will say that we have exceeded my expectations thus far though, and with all the young ins on the team we have a bright future! Until the next incredibly annoying thing that will happen in the offseason, shooting ourselves in the foot once again of course ;)

He's pretty damn good. Doesn't have the ball in his hand every play though?

I think EG is better anyways, my opinion.

Gimme what you're smoking cause you have to be high to think EG is better than every player on Bama.

Cooper is a man amongst boys playing here in CFB. I'd rather have Yeldon or Henry over any of our backs and your blind if you think otherwise. Tarean and GB are outstanding RBs, but good Lord. Bama's backs just don't go down until the 4th or 5th hit. It's unbelievable.

Amani? He can't be in football shape anymore. I'd take our CB's over him all day.

I'd chalk up fsu's OL not looking good to them playing tighter without winston back there, being on the road, night game at a rival, crowd noise, just having a down game, or some combination of the above.

Their OL has basically been there 3 years, starting. It was one of the very best in the nation last year. They didn't just become a crappy OL.

I'd trade ND's OL for fsu's OL in a heartbeat, and probably trade each current ND OL individually for each one of theirs, individually.

They had a bad game. It happens sometimes.

And yet they still won, on the road, in their toughest road game of the season, without their best player/QB.

Where was that game played? It sure seemed like a pro-FSU crowd.

He couldn't have watch that Alabama mauling of UF yesterday. Cooper torched Hargraves III like he was a scrub. Also, Blake Sims was dropping dimes.

Yea, it was definitely at FSU. I'd say it was a combo of having an immobile backup playing QB and Clemson's D-line being really good plus Clemson's defense bringing the heat on the inexperienced backup.

Sims had some solid throws but I still want EG.

That game was most definitely at FSU. Crowd was a real factor in the fourth quarter.
Clemson's defense brought it all night, probably to try and rattle the QB. And they probably put more guys in the box to stop the run and force FSU to throw. If it wasn't for Nick O'Leary taking over, and Mackenzie Alexander falling over on that long touchdown pass late, it would've worked.

Do you work for ESPN or something?

Miss. State from unranked to top 4 after it's first win against a ranked opponent since 2010? That's pretty comical.

Here man, have some...come over. So if I read this right you're saying that every player on 'Bama's team is better than EG? That is the way I read it. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

On second though, lets hang out your place...I want what you are smoking.

I mistyped on the opening line of the post, but read on. My premise is there. Cooper, Yeldon, Henry. They are all better than EG.

How does this matter at all

MSU's team consists of the same players and coaching staff from a team that went 3-5 in the SEC last year. They squeezed out a win against an LSU team that also hasn't looked like worldbeaters this year, and all of a sudden people argue they are top 4?

That's the SEC bias that everyone complains about on this site. A normal reaction in the polls would be LSU drops to around 20-25 and MSU jumps up to about 18-22.

Right, I'm sure you did...

Cooper, Yeldon and Henry together might be better than EG. Oh wait, that isn't right either. You forgot about Toomer...

Sorry to pick on u but "no signal caller"? Go ahead and look up Blake Sims' stats yesterday.

I checked those stats and watched the game. Sims numbers were extremely inflated, he had two deep 70+ yard TD receptions where both Cooper and Drake were so wide open the TV didn't even capture a Florida defender on the screen until they were in the end zone.

Lets not ride the ESPN wave on Bama quite yet. Sims has only faced one semi decent team in WVU where he put up less then adequate numbers (0-TD, 1-int), Florida Atlantic, Southern Miss and Florida are all about at the level of low level Big 12 football schools. I mean Florida went into 3 OT's with Kentucky just the week before, lets see how they do against Ole Miss and Texas A&M in the next few weeks.

We've played the scheduled, and beat the shit out all of them. Not sure what you're looking for.

Texas A&M and LSU played deez nutz, LSU lost.

I'm not looking for anything. I was just researving my kool aid drinking because we have not beat a good team yet. We have crushed out opponent with the exception of a terrible Purdue team that have us a lil scare. I very happy with the Ws as a W is a W but I'm pointing out as is Dillon that we really haven't played a good team as of yet.

Well then disregard any passes Golson had against Rice.

I can't believe people on here are doubting Alabama. Have we not watched football the last six years?

ND is 9. You admit that MSU has a better resume. It's not 'pretty comical' that someone might think MSU is top 4.

Where did I admit that MSU has a better resume than ND? I just said that both are not top 4 at this point.

And you're wrong, it's comical for someone to argue that previously unranked MSU is now a playoff team after beating the 8th ranked team in the country. Wouldn't simple logic suggest that to jump from unranked to top 4, you at least have to beat one of the existing consensus top 4 teams? It's a shame that a win against any SEC West team automatically means a team is a college football juggernaut.

Someone's being awfully confrontational this morning, aren't they?

I really did mistype. Everett is good, great even. But have you watched 'Bama's backs run or Cooper leave CBs with twisted hips? They are unreal. All are better than EG.

Now who the fuck is the Toomer you keep taking about? The corner? Is there supposed to be a joke in there somewhere?
