Congratulations to President Obama. Good luck to him and good luck to us all. America has serious problems right now and hopefully they get addressed.

I hope both sides come together to solve our countries problems.

I see a lot of you have been suckered in by the Mainstream (liberal) Media. Two days until you are shocked into reality. Romney will carry Ohio and as such will be POTUS #45. The over sampling of democrats in these national polls has mis-led millions of Americans. CNN has shown Obama ahead in Ohio in the previous four polls by 4 points. If this were true there would be no way Romney would prevail. It is my argument that this poll is not accurate. Again, they over sample dems and use the polling model based upon the 2008 election (not going to ever happen again). The masiah has been unmasked. In early voting in Ohio while the dems lead in this category by a large margin, the diff. b/t 2008 and 2012 is an approx. 240K swing in favor of the republicans. Just like Benghazi, the lies will only be hidden by the national media only for so long. This administration left two Navy Seals, another American worker, and a US Ambassador (also raped) to be killed and then they lied for weeks. We will get to the truth of this matter.

Also, Obama is a moderate by nature. To think otherwise is to buy into a caricature, IMO.
He starts by being a moderate, which he is.

Actually I thought about it more and figured that the VP selection is what doomed Romney. I believe I said it on here when it happened.

I'm still curious as to why everyone (on the right) thinks all the 'entitlements' are so preposterous?

I quote the Declaration of Independence: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed..."

Are those who are less fortunate than us not entitled to the UNALIENABLE RIGHTS set forth by our founding fathers? Life consists of food and water, and that the GOVERNMENT is instituted to secure these rights for all citizens. The 47% of people Mitt Romney called out in his speech at the fundraiser just so happened to include retired seniors living on social security and medicare, college students, those making under 40,000 dollars a year, while those residing on bullsh!t mountain took it as '47% of the country is mooching off my tax dollars thanks to that damn Obama.'

I am very happy President Obama is back for four more years, and I look forward to seeing progress made in the grid lock of the House and Senate!

They want to do away with unions so that they can pay people next to nothing. They also don't think that they should pay their fair share in taxes and get every tax break and loophole imaginable. They tried to buy this election, but they failed to realize that the middle class is more powerful with their vote.

To all the thoughtful and intellectually honest conservatives who argued in favor of Romney based on their convictions and ideals for the future of the country, it’s been a pleasure arguing with you. Keep pushing for your ideals, the country will be better off if honest people are engaging in debate.

To those who were certain that Romney would win, how about some accountability? This outcome is a triumph of evidence over opinion, and should provoke a strong reaction against all of the pundits and their followers who ignore data and promote an ideological interpretation of basic facts. It is not often that a debate on a thread like this can be resolved definitively, but this one was. You guys who came up with all kinds of anecdotal reasons why your guy would win were dead wrong. Debate is over, the evidence-based argument won. It would be nice if some of you would own up to it.

To those who spewed venom throughout the leadup to the election, who tried to provoke subtle racial hatred, who demonized the President and his supporters, who had no problem blatantly distorting words, opinions, and history: FU. You are hurting the country. This stuff comes from both sides, but in this election it was rampant on the Republican side and it was rampant from a small number of posters on this thread. It is a nice feeling to know that your distortions will be irrelevant for the next four years, and I will enjoy hearing you whine about it.

And to all, let’s get back to football. We’ve got an undefeated team that’s contending for a national championship, let’s get back to enjoying this run!

I did not believe the polls showing D+7. It really did come to fruition for the most part.

Congrats to Silver. He had it right. I still do not agree with how he ages Polls as it is subjective, but he has a "touch" for this. Also rolling up probabilities always leads to numbers that appear outlandish...

Congrats to all of you who wanted "4 more years" . I have suspicions regarding what that will bring, as do you. Some welcome it...I sincerely hope it is what you expect.

I am thankful this did not tuen into a "hanging chad" event...

Time to move on, persevere, or thrive, depending on who you are...but as the man said "elections have consequences"...

Ehhh....Obama dominated. No doubt about it. Congrats to him.

But it's more shocking to me that over 50% of our country thinks it needs more government in their lives.
