He's not a sheriff in the fucking wild west. Innocent until proven guilty. If he's guilty throw away the key idc. Certainly not going to place my trust in pigs like this to be their own judge jury and executioners though.

Thankfully reasonable people in charge don't agree with you and the officer has been charged with battery and misconduct. Should be off the force until he's convicted though.

Want to know why there are people who scream DEFUND THE POLICE!!! Want to know why people have distrust of the process? It's because of people like you with these thoughts.

Now, don't get me wrong, people who beat women and molest kids are scum between our toes. That said, the police MUST uphold their part of the agreement with the citizenry and act accordingly. They should never do what you are suggesting. To do that is to break the trust of many many people, not matter how vile the criminal and their actions.

Lots of things wrong in my opinion as the Monday morning QB. Wrong apartment, why bring a gun to the door when they announce they are police at the door and you have a peep hole to see outside, why shoot if he’s just lawfully holding a gun.

I carry DOD creds/badge. Sometimes I have to knock on doors. One idiot brought his gun with him in his hand. I didn’t see it until he walked out. Scared the shit out of me, my first thought was “how do I get out of here”, my second thought was “this guy is asking to be dead”. Totally different situation because I was just asking this guy who was living at the house next door not “responding” to a domestic situation.

I read that there was another incident recently where an officer in this same department fired rounds through his squad car because...........an acorn landed on it.
