Colorado boasts some of the best breweries in America, yet you're drinking PBR and BL? If you're limited to cans while fishing, Oskar Blues in Longmont produces some amazing stuff.

haha, I take no credit for the BL. A buddy with poor moral fiber (he's even a scUM fan) brought that to my house.

PBR on the hand is one of life's true pleasures. Cheap and delicious.

I really like the Mama's Lil Pils that Oscar Blues makes. It's one of my favorites lately. Oscar Blues is also an awesome place. They have a huge acoustical jam on Tuesdays that I go to. Good times.

Wooly, I would love to go fishing sometime.

We'll have to make that happen, homie.

That's awesome! 550 cord? You have instructions?

550 indeed. I used a double cobra braid. Did a quick google search for ya and this is pretty much how I did it. I put the gold in there too, which isn't in this tutorial, but it's easy enough. Take the innards out of the cord, burn the ends and then just braid it in (I think you're probably smart enough to figure out how. PM if you have questions). Got a D loop from the hardward store for the tag holder and braided that in. Really quite easy. I've been making a lot of stuff from 550 cord lately. Just made a bow sling and a watch band. Cheap and fun!

This dog is 99% a carbon copy of my most treasured dogs. He won us many national and world show awards and was the sire of many dogs. He's been gone for about 15 years, but he still brings a smile on my face when I think of him.

Soooo, this happened last night. Me and my fiancé were at the NWTF turkey banquet last night with a live auction. The had an akc beagle there. We came home with it against my best wishes. Moral of the story, don't let you're fiancé get drunk if there is a dog in the auction. Damnit. There goes the money for a home game this fall.

Very cute pup, dude.

Good thing you were drunk last night, otherwise you probably would have been up all night with the howling. Those lil guys are relentless. I have a buddy that has had quite a few of them. All really well mannered/trained dogs. One night when we were drinking and smoking cigars, he told me "There isn't a beagle in the world that can be trained not to howl, their spirit is too wild", then slammed his beer down on the table and belted a howl himself... his little pack of beagles all followed suit behind him.

It was probably one of the funniest things I have seen. haha. There great dogs that are funny as hell. You'll enjoy your new buddy.

Beagles are good dogs. Take the time to train him well and you'll have a friend for life, don't train him and he'll still love you unconditionally, but you won't enjoy him so much. They are very active and need a "pack leader". If you don't take the role, he'll assume it and kind of ignore you when it comes to commands....kind of like "whatever dude".

Ha, Wolly... that's hilarious. He's been here for about 13 hours now and I have yet to hear him howl or bark once, actually. I'm just waiting for it to come, cause I know it is. He will be trained, but currently, we are living with my fiance's mom, and she's a bleeding heart. So training him in this environment will prove to be difficult. He's joining our 3 y/o Lab/Daschund mutt, so we'll see how it goes. Thanks fellas.

The bark of a dog can't compare to the bawl of a hound.
