Signed.

As I watched last night I was torn between depression knowing that ND would not win the NC and realizing that I thought they would be 8-4 at best back in August and I would have been happy with any major bowl game.

Whereas we, the undersigned, are tremendously disappointed at how the 2012-2013 Notre Dame Football season ended, we hereby raise our voices that it be known that we:

1. Recognize that our disappointment pales in comparison to the young men on the roster who gave such great effort this season.

2. Respect all of the hard work, dedication, and devotion that above stated young men (and their coaches and support personnel) put forth, all year, for little more than our enjoyment and earning the respect of their bretheren in blue and gold.

3. Wish to thank each and every player, from the All-Americans down to the scout team players, for restoring our faith in the ability of a group of men to excel with integrity, class, and honor.

4. Look forward to seeing this team continue to improve and make believers of even the most cynical of College Football fans.

We, the undersigned, wish everyone associated with the Notre Dame Football Program to be made aware that we are proud of them, and proud to call ourselves fans of such worthy individuals.

GO IRISH!!

My prediction was 7-5 and you guys know how down I was to begin things this year. What these guys did made it one of my top 3 favorite Irish teams of all time-maybe #1. One thing for sure I would rather live in Brian Kelly's world than Lou Sabans. (I just love calling him Lou)
