The IBA tested him last year and he is genetically a male. Again, where he's from, how he identifies, how long he's claimed to be female, what he did in the past, nor any of the rest of it is relevant. He is a male competing against women in a sport where that makes a world of difference. There are sites and bloggers claiming he was only disqualified last year because of testosterone levels, he was born female, and etc. They're spinning, lying to push an agenda, and leaving stuff out. He's not a masculine female. He has been genetically tested by the IBA and is male.

Hmmmm who should we trust the IOC (who also cleared her in 2020 and no one questioned) or the Kremlin run IBA who have an axe to grind? And can't produce any evidence of their claims?

I apologize for letting this derail the main conversation about the Olympics. Toronto & Gattaca, if you want to continue this, let's follow others' suggestions and move it elsewhere.

I don't think you’re derailing anything as this is a topic the IOC has been dealing with for years. I feel bad for some of these athletes as their stories are different from the ones that have been debated publicly in the US. They’re not dudes who one day decided to compete against women. Personally, I don’t think there is any place in women’s sports for the Lia Thompsons of the world.

These athletes are mostly ones who come from countries in poorer areas and are intersex. They grow up as girls with seemingly female anatomy. They do however have XY chromosomes and produce a high level of T. What’s the best approach for these athletes? You seem to think they should not be able to compete and you may be right. It’s just got to be tough growing up thinking you’re female and then you’re publicly outed and your career is gone.

Imagine if we made everyone in Alabama get a DNA test and publicly published the results. I would feel bad for the 64% of residents who found out they were the product of incest.
