Kings of Leon should stick to making sh*tty hipster music instead of picking football games.

F Kings of Leon. F em.

That is what we would expect from a homer OU fan but that old dip sh&t corso picks ND in the bcd game and then picks us to lose today so he can play with pop gun. Only one on the game day panel with any cred is herby. 3tds predicted by the georgia douche for the belldozer. Waiting for his apology. As for Howard he is just the token mush mouth ND hater.

  • We physically dominated Oklahoma. As in, beat the sh!t out of them. In Norman. Held them to something like 15 net yards rushing. Let that sink in.
  • That last series said it all. Looked like the Sooners would score a cheap TD to take some shine off our win, but one official review, offensive PI, and brutal sack later... game over. Sit the f*ck down, Stills.
  • Remember when those dinosaurs at NDNation were grumbling about how Jenkins wasn't willing to open his wallet wide enough for Bob Stoops? Back to your cave, ND Taliban.

Everything about this post, I love.

Corso likes to play to the home crowd quite a bit. I think he only tends to pick the away team if they're expected to dominate.

As far as other ESPN/ABC analysts...John Saunders always has a **** eating grin when the Irish aren't playing well, and he couldn't refrain from taking a jab at our defense at halftime by saying they're still #2 to Alabama. Guess what...we held Michigan to less points than Alabama, and we've played a tougher schedule up to this point, so....**** you, Saunders.

First 4 games: 561 yards rushing

Last 4 games: 1011 yards rushing

Our OL has turned a corner. Next year... look out.

Look out THIS year!

The Good
- Everett Golson balled today. He showed poise and toughness. Made no bad decisions
- Oline dominated. Golic was part of the block that broke Cierre for the play of the game.
- OU rushed for 15 yards. Our defense is amazing.
- Kelly outcoached Stoops... plain and simple

The Bad
- Kyle Brindza continues to be inaccurate. I believe this to be caused by inexperience, but he was there when we needed him to ice it, so I cant complain too much.

The Ugly
- Kenny Stills attitude. I doubt NFL scouts will turn on this tape and like either his attitude or play in this game.

Final note - Anybody else wonder if when Stoops crossed the field to shake Kelly's hand, he wondered "what could have been"? I don't think that any of us are foolish enough to believe that all of the smoke around him possibly coming to Notre Dame had no fire. He could have been across the sidelines coaching this team. But he wasn't... he was on his side coaching his sissy pass-happy Sooner team into defeat. The adjustments, recruiting and on field decision making Kelly has made this season have shown me that we really lucked out with getting Kelly. If we would have gotten Stoops, that OU team is pretty much what we would look like today. I will take the Kelly/Diaco brand of physical football any day over the Stoops brand.

Good luck to the Sooner fans that stopped by the rest of the season. Truly a classy bunch of dudes.

The physicality of our team is ridiculous. Seemed almost every other series somebody from OU was hurt. Not calling OU anything demeaning as I think they are a great team but just seemed like they were just getting crushed. Other then Tony Jefferson's knock of Golson, OU was getting smacked around.

24 hour rule then focus on Pitt. Would be nice to get a W against Mark Mays squad.

Stoops didn't want the challenge. Kelly did. Therein lies all the difference.

The most joyful thing about this win is that we played what I consider Notre Dame football. Tough, physical, athletic and smart. We put it all together last night. Let it roll....

I feel like the longer he does this the more he picks the home team. I don't have any in depth research into this but I swearing growing up he picked the road team more than he does now.

I'll admit I wanted Stoops but I'm so glad we got Kelly. Don't get me wrong, when we picked Kelly I was fine with that because aside from Stoops, or maybe Meyer, there was no one else I wanted more than Kelly.

Looking at it now, I wouldn't trade Kelly for any of 'em. Stoops' teams always choke in the big moments and if we had Meyer we'd be on probation in four years.

I love how Kap specifically mentioned Mark May and "the Reilly guy or whatever" in the video on the espn main page about calling them irrelevant

I was nervous that the Brindza miss was going to haunt us for awhile. Game ball goes to Golson for sure.

Defensive front did just enough to pressure Landry Jones at the right times. I loved Manti's big hit on the blown assignment.

Golic was a huge uptick from the BYU game. .

If any poll has Oregon above ND, I might need a new computer monitor.

The Heisman race is clearly shaping up to be Klein V Manti IMHO. Both are looking awesome.

Ohh yeah, Stoops is a baby. Loved watching him cry about his gaurd tackling our defense.

The Good
Everett Golson played like a veteran today. Never even came close to making a mistake. The kid is growing up.
The O-line continues to dominate, and yes that includes Mike Golic.
The defense all around. Every single guy came to play. The BEST D in the nation resides in South Bend

The Bad
Kyle Brindza: C'mon man you are giving me a heart attack

The Ugly
How the hell do these clowns give up a rushing TD. Despicable

Landry Jones had "0" passing touchdowns against us and in the words of how I believe Coach Kelly would put it, "You boys didn't really think you were going to go the whole season with out someone getting a rushing TD on you?'

Great D
Great Golson
Great Coaching
Great God

I love this team! Go Irish!!!!!

I agree. He just made himself look like a liability on the field and perhaps in the locker room with an attitude like that. Unsportsmanlike and just plain stupid! I was jumping up and down for the karma he received almost as much as the Teo sack!

Just a sick unit as a whole and I am glad to be witnessing this. So freaking happy. Kelly i thought went more aggro than usual and I love it!

Why can't I remember when Brindza missed one?

I was overall very impressed by the team. Golson played like he we all knew he could. The runningbacks are awesome though I hope GAIII gets better. We have WRs that can play. The offensive line are men on a mission. That front seven is the best in the country. The secondary does more than is expected from them. Bob Diaco is a great D coordinator.

Not sure this has been mentioned anywhere, but did we have a penalty??? I can't recall even one penalty. (Edit...just checked and we apparently had 1 penalty for 5 yards). That is probably the most impressive stat in the entire game. Extremely difficult game in a very hostile stadium on the road and the team played composed and confident. That's what you get when you are prepared and I give all the credit to the coaching staff for that.

Overall, I have nothing to complain about. You could make a point to complain about Brindza's miss, but he made two long field goals late when we really needed them in the 4th and he kicked the ball really well on kickoffs...so I still view his game as a positive. Golson played composed and only made one or two bad throws and, most importantly, didn't turn the ball over. I still wish he would tuck the ball better when he scrambles. There was a play early in the game when he got tackled and it seemed like he was literally palming the ball...but he held on. Daniels and Jones made some great catches with DB's blanketed on them. Chris Brown made that one big play late and almost had another long one early...although I believe he was interfered with on that one. O-Line played amazing. No holding penalties and did a pretty good job of keeping their defenders out of the backfield. Running backs played amazing. Consistently turned 1-2 yard losses into 3-4 yard gains with quick cuts. This made a big difference in the game. Defense...what can I say...they are an amazing group and Diaco's plan was perfect. Make them one dimensional and control the tempo of the game. Check. I don't know what else to say. I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!

It was the opening drive in the second half.

If you meant you can't remember the miss because you're so happy with the win, disregard my post.

Sportallyr- Big Lou jumped offside for our only penalty.

Ahhh yes. Now I remember. Big Lou jumping offside and knocking a lineman on his back. Wow. Cant believe that was our only penalty considering the environment. Simply amazing!

I will definite piggyback on the fact that stills look like a tool. That was obnoxious and stupid. He even pulled himself out after that dumbass push off at the end. How do u talk smack to somebody after your getting worked....terrible.

With that being said, I did not think they were going to win when sat down to watch it. I've watched every game since 95 and this game blew me away. Simply great football by a group that wants it more than the other team. On top of that I will quote herbstreit(not sure about spelling) when he said "we r watching this kid grow up in front of our eyes". Speaking of Golson. I do believe he is special and I personally believe that he is going to be really really special before he leaves

The effort I witnessed last night from the Irish was historical. Manti is going to be remembered forever for both his Personal and Football contributions at ND. What a great player, leader, and person this kid has matured to be.

Great Win Irish!!!!!!

GO IRISH!!!!!!!!!

Key plays at key times ALL GAME LONG!

We came into their house and laid a smackdown on them. Just so damn awesome. Out performed the spread by 30 points. 30 points!!!

Kenny Stills is the biggest tool ever and he got his karma.

That loser picker from Kings of Leon saying that Oklahoma was going to run the ball down our throat... LOL. STFU and go back to making bad music. 15 yards rushing. 15!!

And most importantly... haters can suck one.

Saw that douche from Kings Of Leon on game day...how ya like the irish now tool and you music still sucks.
