please list these infractions Florida had under Meyer

Don't act like specific NCAA actions against Florida are the only way to validate the scummyness that went on there under Meyer. The drugs, oversigning, lengthy arrests record (31 arrests in the summer of '05 alone), lying and cheating are well documented.

Did you actually read any of the articles? Or did you just jump right into being defensive?

Meyer is the ultimate used car salesmen but he was not a cheat at Florida

So allowing players to do drugs isn't cheating? Misleading the NCAA with "injuries" to hide failed drug tests isn't cheating?

Whatever, dude.

Coaches suspend players that way who is it misleading? Pop Saunders has been "injured" multiple times in his career under both Meyer and Muschamp. Right now he has "knee injury". He did not play the last few games of the season and wont play in the bowl game Everybody knows he failed a drug test. That is not cheating.

Weird... because according to the NCAA drug testing policy, a one game ban is not the punishment for a failed drug test.

The penalty for positive tests of both performance-enhancing and street drugs is strict and automatic. Student-athletes lose one full year of eligibility for the first offense (25 percent of their total eligibility) and are withheld from competition for a full season. A second positive test for street drugs results in another lost year of eligibility and year withheld from competition. A second positive result for PED usage will render the student-athlete permanently ineligible.

He instead had them fake injuries to conceal it. That is cheating, my friend. Maybe not in your eyes, but to the rest of the rational world it is.

To be fair Wooly, almost every program disguises a failed drug test or being caught using as "a violation of team rules" and dishes out a 1 or 2 game suspension.

Yes, and anyone here who thinks ND is squeaky clean is delusional. They aren't as bad as other programs, but they are not the be all end all of NCAA compliance and program transparency.

lol nice try wooly it will all be ok

You keep saying "nice try" to people that tell you what's up. You disproved nothing I said and it is well documented that Urban ran a shady as hell program at Florida.

Why are you even here, again?

And then proceeded to let them do as they pleased, including drugs and getting arrested.

Seems like you are pretty proud of that.

Don't make fun of other schools like Clemson for being shady when you clearly are accepting of it at your own program.

That was one heck of a tough week in Jan 2011. Then again in Jan 2012. Any takers that someone gets pinched in Jan 2013?

So kid gets in trouble for weed or alcohol kid gets punished they are not going to announce anything. You can not compare that to illegal recruiting.

Using the thread search, it looks like your memory's correct.

The first time the drama/theatre major thing came up was a post about a week and a half ago about an analogy between Amir and Max breaking down because Amir wanted to major in drama. No further mention until we started looking at the "business decision" statement.

The only other discussion of what he wants to study is a mention several months ago that Oregon fans were trying to rebut ND's claim of academic superiority by pointing to their top-rated sports marketing program. It was never clarified whether Max has said he wants to major in that or Oregon fans were just grasping at the nearest straw.

Per Rivals, Redfield is looking to major in Criminal Justice. Link

Then you guys are missing the REAL sleeper....my alma mater....SAM HOUSTON STATE!
