Love ya as a poster, but I'll say this.
I love "The Navy". My dad served in the 60s, as did others in my family. I appreciate any sacrifice of service. I also appreciate what Navy did for ND.
That said, look at the replay. Not the replay the network showed. What the network showed was cut to much and showed when 67 was already in the motion. Rewind the actual play. I'd like to see a close up of the whole play, but from what I could see, the roll into the back of Drue was not necessary. It did not look at all to me as something that could not be avoided.
Over my 40+ years, I've seen numerous hurtful blocks by Navy. From this year, take a look at the block from the Houston game. It was purposefully an illegal chop. No question about it.
Just because someone serves, does not me they aren't capable of wrong, and can not be questioned.
