Another game I would like to see Freeman to show that we can put people away when need too. Another W in the column.

this totally sucks and i don't understand why they are doing this. why not show the game on NBC and then also stream it on peacock and let fans decide how they want to watch the game.
Because it's against a crappy UNLV team. Even many ND fans will probably sit this one out. They also know that some ND diehards might pony up for a Peacock subscription just to watch the game. They are trying to balance not pissing off Notre Dame while also trying to drive up Peacock subscriptions.

Doesn't anyone who has access to NBC already have access to peacock? Doesn't seem like it would drive subscribers that much

It looks like some cable providers will provide $5 monthly towards a Peacock subscription. Premium with Ads costs $5, making it free. Premium without ads costs more. Even if the cable company is offsetting the costs, it still requires the user to subscribe.

NBC is throwing a lot of their sports programming onto Peacock. Tour de France, Formula 1, Golf, even some MLB. They're trying to stay ahead of the curve as, we keep being told by Wall St, streaming is the future of TV.
One ND game a year is just a small piece in this picture.

I used to think streaming would help but now I think if I want to watch each of my teams I’m gonna need like eight different streaming subscripts
Become a United fan, then you'll only need seven cause who wants to watch that crap!

NBC's streak of having non attractive sideline reporters for ND games continues
What are you saying there? I certainly wouldn't say she's unattractive.

I'd still put Alex Flanagan at #1 for Irish sideline reporting, but that has more to do with the name than anything
I'm wondering more about her experience. Zora did mostly basketball before. She did one season of work with NBC on the USFL and now she's getting called up to the big boys in college. Big career step.

Did something similar last year. Timed it with some WWE PPV my son wanted to see. Easier to justify the $5 that way, for me at least.

Anybody know which Peacock package you’ll need to watch this game?
You need Peacock Premium, which starts at $4.99 per month.

For any of you who have Xfinity cable, you get Peacock Premium for free.

I use sportsurge.net . The link to the game will start to appear about 30 minutes before kickoff.

I've watched every game on it this season. Sometimes the links they provided may buffer but it's all about finding the right one and going from there. It's free, too. It has helped keep my sanity living in small-town Bavaria.

Peacock had a special recently, $19.99 for one year but I’m not sure if that is still available…..they actually have some decent new release movies as well so it made sense to pull the trigger for that price.
