Yeah, I wasn't anticipating USC losing to the Fighting Illini. I was praying for the meteor, but now I fear we really need USC to win out for the sake of the schedule. It's certainly easier rooting for the Trojans over the Skunkbears, but not by much.

It’s rarely, if ever; cold for that game. Now I could see it being rainy but temps will be tolerable.

My fear is that Ash over-thinks things and returns to his tendencies. If the second game vs Caleb taught us anything its that you gotta play aggressive and take the defense to them and force them to make mistakes.

The only way to play SC is to punch them in the mouth and then watch them fold.

Last year, USCs whole strategy seemed to be identify the 1v1 matchup and hope they can win 50/50 balls. It eliminated our pass rush and they won more than their fair share of tossups, until they didn’t at the end.

If we sit back in zone, Maiava will carve us up.

We’ve got to get pressure on him and get him off platform.
